About the Author

I grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee, home of Chickamauga Battlefield, Rock City, Ruby Falls, and the beautiful Tennessee Aquarium.  After graduating from high school in 1973, I headed to southwestern Virginia for undergrad.  My alma mater, Emory and Henry College, is a small liberal arts institution that enjoys an excellent reputation for quality academics and affordability.

Between my sophomore and junior years, I married my high school sweetheart.  We graduated together in 1977.  I later earned a Masters in Reading and Story Arts from East Tennessee State University.

For 15 years I taught kindergarten and second grade near Knoxville, TN, in the foothills of the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains.  In the fall of 2002, I left the classroom to write full-time.

Very disappointed in this book. Full of typos with little regard for a good story line. I usually love her books, but there were so many mistakes, unfinished sentences... that I gave up after 60 pages. I suggest the author stop cramming too many published books at once. Better to concentrate on a single book, finish it then go on--quality over quantity. Plus the female character was a simpering idiot-- just didnt fit her job. Plus the femr lead female... the character's intelligence level didn't fit her job requirements.

Did anyone actually edit the book.  So many mistakes.  Periods in the wrong place, totally wrong words were very annoying.  Your readers are worth more than this.
