Prince of Darkness: A Dark Romance Duology (Part 2) by Marian Tee

Forbidden. Foolish. Forever.

These were the first words that came to Fawn Cornwall's mind when she thought of the prince's offer to become her lover behind her boyfriend's back.

Her boyfriend, who she had caught cheating on her.

But if she said yes to the Prince of Darkness---

Fawn knew she would never be the same again.

It would be everything or nothing at all.

He would either love her...or break her.

And one day...he did just that.

OK I really would have given this book 5stars if it continued to get better however it's only 79 pgs with a cliffhanger. I really like this author style and will be purchasing the next book. If it's just as good I'll continue reading her books if not it'll be in my next review

I wanted to like this book but it just never really took off for me. There was not enough back story to explain about why The Prince wad called the Prince of Darkness. There was little to no explanation as to why Fawn and Grant basically had no relationship. Also, does Fawn really have to stutter every time she speaks? I get that she is an innocent virgin, but it just makes her seem un-intelligent. Because she is a virgin and so innocent, when she finds out about The Prince's special parties, her reaction did not fit her character. I just didn't find her to be a believable or relatable character in the slightest. I think this book could have been good but it maybe needed more editing and fine tuning.

*received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review* I've read several of this author's work and this one is one of my favorites. While I love and enjoy instant romances, I always get a kick when the two MCs don't immediately feel like fate has brought them together. One of the beautiful moments of seeing them come together, you know? Reid and Fawn are hilarious with their relationship (if you can even call it that at first) and I enjoyed the way they interacted, even as other things happened in the background, like his parties and her horrid fiance. It added to the story a bit more, and I loved the drama. Fawn was adorable xD Reid is so smooth (like Batman) and I really, really enjoyed his role. It was so dark! So interesting! So much pain... Definite recommend

By far some of this author's best work. Fawn is sweetness and light. Reid thrives on dark, sensational and wicked delights. I never question that I am going to get a good story from Marian Tee. She has a vivid imagination. What breaks my heart is waiting to find out what happens next.
