I would recommend the book to both students and researchers. The detailed description of the steps in protein extraction, purification and characterization would be a tremendous help to anybody who is not yet familiar with the entire protocol. The theory/principle is presented first afterwhich the procedure follows. It's a worthwhile investment. Get a copy of it!
