I truely enjoyed this book. It was one that I could not put down until I was finished. Very seldom can I find books that peek my interest this much. I found peace while reading this book and have promptly referred it to several family and friends. I would recommend this book to anyone and if they did not get much out of it I would recommend that they re-read it! God Bless!

If you are looking for a breakthrough in your prayer life and your daily walk with Christ, then this book will give you some insight and knowledge of someone who has been in your shoes and experienced the struggles that you may be dealing with as well. Not only does Merlin express some of the same frustrations you may be going through, but he also paints pictures of others that God has led to him for help in certain areas of his life. Merlin went from 'just for me' to 'just for HIM' and shows the road he took. This book can be read quickly (2 hours or less) and will edify your life by showing you that praising God in ALL you do is what makes life great.

WAR! what pops into your head when you think of this? Exactly, extreme action, bloody, fighting for your life and victory. This book has so realistic action it will definately make you feel like you are there and on the battle feild, like when Cather's said that there was bullets whizzing over his head he explained it so well that when I was reading I almost covered my head.

This book offers hope to anyone who may struggle with spiritual issues. I have found it to be an effective tool to use with the chemically dependent, who have feelings of unworthyness or hopelessness. This is an easy reader with broad appeal for a good age range from teens through mature adults.

The writing is short, direct, and straight-to-the-point. The stories about his experiences kind of drag on at times, but most are enlightening to his story of growth in faith. But the last two chapters more than make up for any deficiencies!
