Sienna gets an internship she found out about from her best friend Harper. But, the artist is moody, plays too many games, and is very secretive. But, Sienna seems drawn to him. Follow these 2 as they story unfolds. Loved it!

I was given this book to read for an honest review and let me just say I love this book! Such a heart felt story. Sienna is a very strong character and I love her. I love her honesty and her openness. I have not read Model Position and I'm not sure I will. I worry that it will change my opinion of Sienna and I really don't want to like Erik.  If you read romance for the silly way the characters don't open up or that they do the stupid things to screw things up you'll not enjoy this book. This a well written book that cuts thru the bs and they deal with life. I started reading this book and did not put it down till I was done.  Great Job Kitsy Clare...look forward to more from you!

3.5 Stars I was pleasantly surprised by Private Internship by Kitsy Clare and would recommend it as a quick romantic read with some genuine, serious moments. It is the second book in a series, and even though I had not read the first, I found this book easy to follow. I would recommend however, reading the first book first, as I believe the first book could be better enjoyed being read first, rather than after the second book. To be honest, the beginning few pages set off some of some alarms and I was concerned that it might be over the top in plot, characters, drama, and setting. There is a touch of that, but I finished reading pretty well satisfied that they all had their place in this book, the degree of each aspect was about right. For me, I found the writing style very easy to read. Private Internship is a short read, and in places I could see how the story might be fuller and more satisfying if it had been expanded fifty pages or so. Additionally, deeper character development could have been done. For the length, the author did a solid job or wrapping up my major questions. The book had heart to it and was worth reading. The major problem I had with it was some of the overly risky situations that the characters put themselves in. For example, and this will not spoil the plot, I could not stand when the main character Sienna continuously rode with her friend who is an awful and dangerous driver. It was just annoying and undermined my respect for the main character. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.

Sienna's best friend warned her not to take the internship with Casper Mason. He might be a famous artist, but he's beyond eccentric. Sienna needs the money, though, and surely the gorgeous Caz can't be that bad. His games test her right away, but she doesn't frighten off easily. Sienna's not only determined to make the internship work, she finds she's falling hard for her hot boss. The problem is Caz has a dark secret locked away. One that could destroy everything between them. I loved Kitsy Clare's first book, Model Position. Private Internship was even better! It was a little darker, more mysterious, and a whole lot hotter. Not only was it well-written and fun, but the peek into the art world made it stand out from other books in the genre. The biggest hook for me was Casper Mason, the sizzling Caz! He had me right away when we're first introduced to him hanging upside-down prepping his work. He lives in an old sugar factory and makes art from sugar. I do love his opinion of sugar too! Caz is mysterious, playful, and charismatic. He also has a big dark secret looming over him. Just like Sienna, I was dying to know what it was, and I had no idea until it was revealed. It was brilliant! What a many layered man Caz is, and it only makes him sexier. I definitely recommend Kitsy Clare's books to NA and romance readers.

~RECEIVED FOR HONEST REVIEW~ What secrets can one person hold.. What could be the worst secret that you would never want to have exposed... Find out what Casper is hiding that Sienna is trying to find. Will it all be uncovered, who will it hurt the most, what comes out of the dark into the light? I wasn't sure when I first started reading this book how I would feel, but once I settled down and got into I was like WOW, this took off into a better read than I first thought!

I was a little apprehensive going into this book. Being the second book, I naturally thought to start off with the first. However, I am a sappy romantic and am always in favor of a solid happily ever after. So, I chose not to read the first book as it revolves around another relationship. I don’t want to end a romance novel thinking that my HEA was a temporary situation. IN the end, I was glad I made that choice. I get very attached to the characters I read about and I would have had a much harder time accepting Sienna’s choice to break it off with Erik.  Let me first say, this book surprised me. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. It’s not very long, so it was a fast paced read. The story moves along at good pace, not rushed, but getting to the peaks and valleys of the plot in a very straightforward way. I adored Caz/Charles. It’s so clear, from the very first moment that he is tortured by something. Something that is eroding him from the inside, poisoning his very being. He lets the darkness seep out and spill onto those around him with his rude and angry behavior. However, for some reason, Sienna is able to reach him, almost immediately. It was like she was a balm to his wounded soul. As his softer, more playful side emerged, he just got sexier and sexier. Without a spoiler, let me just say, the ending is beautiful. He was truly hiding a beautiful soul and a complete romantic underneath his gruff exterior.  I have to admit, Sienna was a bit annoying to me at times. Not all of the time, and not for consistent periods. However, it lasted thought the whole of the book, those moments where I rolled my eyes and thought, “grow up, would you?” Despite those times, I liked Sienna. She fought so hard not to tear into Caz and force him to open up to her. In the end, I probably would have given into the temptation to snoop as well. She had fun qualities that helped endear her to me, just as they were doing to Caz. I appreciated how open she was to Caz’s critique of her art, and the willingness to break out of her shell and better her art. As usual, I felt the heroine clung to her twisted illusions of needing “space” and time to figure things out. When the sweet hero sends you texts about how much he misses you and his heart is breaking, and that he wants to tell you everything. You don’t tell him “I’ll think about it!!” There is plenty of heat burning up the sheets. Their attraction makes for some steamy scenes! Their relationship really does grow in a smooth forward motion, the events seeming to take a natural course.  Overall, I really enjoyed it. Even those moments of annoyance at Sienna were pretty easy to overlook. The story is heartbreaking and sweet all at the same time. If you’re looking for a quick read and feel good romance, I’d recommend this book.

This book has a great balance of romance and intrigue. There was a mystery going on from the start. Sienna’s best friend, Harper, was fired for going into Caz’s locked storage room, yet Caz keeps leaving his keys where Sienna can easily take them. Since Caz has already given Sienna a slew of crazy tests to see if he can trust her, she knows this is another one. Still, she’s dying to know what’s behind that locked door. While working with Caz, Sienna can’t help but be attracted to him, even if she tries to deny her feelings. And Caz seems to be tempting her at every turn. Before Sienna knows it, the two are tangled up in…well, each other. Their romance is H-O-T! These scenes are not for those who blush easily. But Caz and Sienna’s relationship is more than just sex. And what Sienna unlocks behind that door is more than she would have ever guessed. As I said, the blend of mystery and romance is just perfect. This is a another great read from Kitsy Clare.
