Overview

The third world war has ended, but the threat of terrorism on a global scale remained an ever emerging threat. Behind the scenes, shadowy forces worked to manipulate the past, the present, and even the future.

To counter these ever present threats, the government of the United States established the Special Operations and Crisis Agency, or SOCA, as a spearhead and first line of defense to safeguard its people and its interests. Highly trained, well disciplined, and armed for any incursion - these operatives represented the finest the world had to offer. Operatives such as Travi Gladius, a promising Navy SEAL operator, were among the many servicemen and women who found themselves pulled toward this agency. He, along with his SOCA Team One, otherwise known as "The Mavericks", were the elite and their resolve was about to be tested like never before.

Twenty years in the making, a mysterious government project known as "Alpha" neared its completion: the world's first miracle cure, a programmable specimen that would heal any malady. Many researchers came and went through the passage of time, but only a handful remained to share this positive moment in the history of mankind.

Unfortunately, such a project would inevitably attract attention of the evil kind. These praying eyes have now set their sights on the infant Alpha.

Their intentions however...are much more sinister.

About the Author

Born and raised in Georgetown, Kentucky - I took a late interest in writing that blossomed and has improved over the years. Next to writing, reading is a passion of mine and much of my material comes from research I do, and ideas that just seem to pop out of nowhere.
If I'm not writing, you can usually find me relaxing with some video games, a good book, or practicing my preferred style of martial arts.
