Charlie Jennings and Jhett Hudson knew that a single moment could change everything.

It took them one song to find each other, one question to give them a chance, one kiss to fall in love, and one night to almost lose it all. But they had one thing other couples lack - pure, unconditional love - and that takes more than a moment to walk away from.

Falling in love is only the beginning. Forever is what happens next.

About the Author

Sarah Ashley Jones was raised in San Diego, California, but currently wrangles her husband and three dogs in Clarksville, Tennessee. When she's not writing she works in a pottery studio and comes home covered in paint on a daily basis. She has a slightly unhealthy obsession with cupcakes and chapstick. She is an eternal optimist and can often be found dancing and singing to music at any given time. It's rare to see her not smiling or laughing, but if you do, just bring her a cupcake and it will cheer her up. Her huge imagination was always in overdrive as a child and now she is beyond excited to put it to good use as an adult. She plans to write as long as she has stories that need to be told.

5 Stars!  Oh my! This book sure made me cry. I didn't expect to, but I did. No, I didn't cry because the story was sad, I cried because I was so overjoyed.  I'm glad Sarah wrote another book to give us the finale to Promise Me This. That book ended with a slight cliffhanger that almost had me in tears, but I knew this book was waiting for me so I quickly got it and read their story. And boy was this a great book.  Charlie and Jhett finally get their happily ever after. They worked hard. They had to face so many obstalces that they now get everything they ever wanted; each other and more. So very much more.  One quote from this book has stuck with me ever since I read this book:  "A true love story never ends." I believe this quote is true and this book will help anyone believe it too if they read it.  This book made me smile so big and cry so ugly that I'll definitely be revisiting it in the future. I recommend this book to everyone, seriously buy Promis Me This and then buy this book, you WILL NOT REGRET IT! This is another great book by Sarah and I cannot wait for her future releases!

Beautiful ending to a beautiful story. I couldn't be more pleased with how things turned out for Jhett and Charlie.  I am glad the author chose to give them a short novella with a happy ending, instead of creating drama.

**Received this book for a HONEST review** The author gave me this book and the first one for a honest review, I am not a blogger. I tried to like this book, I really really did. I LOVED the first book and when I got to this one, I didn't understand. The book jumped so much I got whiplash. I seriously reread some parts, thinking **maybe** I missed something, but I didn't. Then, I thought maybe this wasn't finished, she just wanted to know what I thought about it so far, but no. I didn't see the main characters together really. It was more of the sister and the female lead. When you did see them, I couldn't figure out what was going on. I hate writing bad reviews, but this one just didn't do it for me. I got to the end of the book and the author wrote how she didn't want to put drama into the book, because the characters have had enough of it. THEN I understood, but if you don't read the end, you WILL be lost! She didn't need for there to be drama, but she should of made it so it wasn't going from one topic to another. Make it a short novella, SOMETHING. Sorry, I LOVED the first book and that one SHOULD be read, but this one I won't read again.

Jhett and Charlie's ending was just absolutely perfect. I really like the novella, like is not perfect and after the accident Charlie struggled but when you love someone you are there for them and that was what Jhett did. The wedding was just perfect, wow lets just say I was not expecting the twist with Charlie's mom. Sarah Ashley Jones really brought the end of the story to a great ending.

This short novella picks up where the first book left off, in a very difficult place in the relationship. But this book is about all the 'good stuff', the HEA and the warm fuzzies. You will continue to fall for these sweet characters and their romance.....I see some good things coming from this author!

YOU MUST READ BOOK 1 TO UNDERSTAND THIS BOOK!!! I absolutely enjoyed reading this series.  This book starts off where Book 1 (Promise me this) leaves off.  Charlie and Jhett are dealing with the aftermath of what happened. Charlie is still having problems and Jhett doesn’t know how to help her, he feels helpless.  Jhett and Charlie are trying to get everything back to normal. I really don’t want to give any spoilers so I am going to stop right here.   All I will say is that if you have read book 1, you will not be disappointed.

Promise Me Forever picks up where we last saw Charlie & Jhett in Promise Me This.  Promise Me This ended in a cliffhanger, leaving you hoping & praying this couple, who are each beautifully damaged in their own ways, would find salvation in each other.  Charlie & Jhett are unique characters with a complex relationship. Their struggles make them real, and the unexpected turns life takes makes them stronger, but is their love for one another stong enough to keep them together?!  Promise Me Forever is a perfect ending to their amazing love story. Received ARC for review.

Wonderful ending to two wonderful and lovable characters!!! I highly recommend this book if you want to continue Jhett and Charlie's story. I loved how she wrote flashbacks after a few paragraphs so we know the next part took place before, but I would have liked to have seen dates to see exactly how long apart the chapters/scenes were from each other. Other than that the story was sweet. Sarah Ashley Jones should be proud of these two books, I know anything else she writes is going on my future to be read shelf!! **I received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review**

Perfect ending to Charlie and Jhett's love story! Highly recommended! **Complimentary copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review** This novella was the perfect ending to Charlie and Jhett's love story. I'm sad to see it end but it ended so beautifully that they will always have a place in my heart. This is a novella so I can't say much without giving away spoilers but there are some scenes in Promise Me Forever that brought tears to my eyes. Good and bad. There is one thing that confused me and it was the flashbacks. I wish there was a date for them so I knew when this was happening and when it'd switch back but I loved this book so it wasn't that bad for me. Charlie is still not quite herself after the accident so you see a new side of her that isn't in Promise Me This but in the end everything worked out and she was back to being the girl she wanted to be. Jhett was Jhett. If you've read the first book then you know what I mean. He was his sweet, caring self that made Charlie see that he wasn't going anywhere no matter how hard she pushed. He wants a forever with her. He's not giving that up. I loved book 1 and 1.5 so I'm hoping we get more from the other characters because they were great. Heather, Ginger and David need their voices heard and I'm willing to listen!! I'll definitely be on the lookout for more of Sarah's work. Thank you for such a beautiful, bittersweet, touching love story.

I have to say, I love this cover best!!! At first, when I started this, I thought it was a full length novel. When I saw how many pages there were, and saw "novella", I was relieved because I was thinking, these two cannot be handed any more curveballs. I have to say, the author's writing has improved. I've always, ALWAYS thought that the more a person writes, the better they get.

Beautifully written, bursting with sincerity Don't you hate it when you're reading a book that just seems to drag on forever? You get the feeling the author was simply trying to meet some sort of word count quota instead of just ENDING it already. Having read the first book in this series, 'Promise Me This', I was already in love with characters Charlie and Jhett. Even the wonderfully snarky Ginger. But when the first book ended, there were several swirling 'What ifs' that I just couldn't seem to get out of my head. Through a very smart and savvy decision on the author's part, she decided to create a novella to answer all those swirling questions. I think this is the perfect size - fun size, if you will - and I think anything longer would have started to seem dragged out. The story was fresh and alive with so much energy -- I simply love the way Sarah Ashley writes! This is a beautiful companion piece to 'Promise Me This', and I highly recommend. What a perfect summer read!

After losing her brother, discovering far more about his life than she ever imagined, falling in love with a gorgeous guitarist who kept too many secrets, and having it all come crashing down again, Charlie’s coming apart at the seams. But despite all that’s been lost, Jhett still holds her heart, and while she may be an emotional mess, she can’t bring herself to take that final step away from him. Jhett’s torn apart as well, but while Charlie might push him away, he’s not willing to let go completely, not when they need each other to get through, to move forward, and to finally find their happily ever after. The past never truly fades away, but love has a way of making it bearable. The Verdict... OMG, the reunion! I don’t know if I’ve ever read one that was described so perfectly that it not only played out like a movie in my mind, but I could practically feel every emotion and movement. Promise Me Forever is in many ways unlike the first book, filled with emotional turbulence and raw reactions, but somehow it fits perfectly. It’s a short read (which is great, since more would have been too much), so it’s nearly impossible to describe without giving everything away, but it’s wonderful closure to the open-ended Promise Me This, with Jhett becoming even more lovable (if that’s even possible!), and Charlie working through everything that’s happened. If I hadn’t believed in their relationship at the end of the first book, this one would certainly have convinced me. *rcvd complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review

I have been waiting for this follow-up novella to Promise Me This with bated breath and I am happy to report that I was not disappointed. The first novel ends with quite a cliffhanger and... it was bad... there were a lot of emotions and... I won't say anymore. (Sarah- you know what you did.) *deep breaths* Anyway..... Promise Me Forever was a perfect ending for Charlie and Jhett and I think the idea to make it a novella was a novel idea. (get it? NOVEL? haha...ha...) As much as I love this couple and want to read as much about them as possible, I think they have been through enough trials and a full length novel with nothing but rainbows and sunshine would have gotten boring. HOWEVER, we definitely needed some closer and I think this story wrapped everything up very nicely. That's not to say there is no heartache in it- there is. But I think the author did a good job tearing my heart to pieces and then putting it back together. I loved it- 5 stars. :]

First Thoughts: This is the follow-up story for Promise Me This. Due to unforeseen circumstances instead of doing a full novel Sarah decided to write a Novella to give closure to the story and the characters. Although a little disappointed that we don’t get a full length novel full of how awesome Jhett and Charlie are, I think this was a fantastic way to end the story because you really do get full closure. The Story: We are taken back into the lives of Jhett and Charlie, at the end of Promise Me This everything was in like a tailspin. My heart hurt for everyone and I was worried about how they would push through what happened. Promise Me Forever takes us on an emotional journey of love, acceptance, grief, forgiveness, and moving on. It was a little confusing at times jumping back and forth between the past and the present, but once I got the hang of it, it was totally a necessary thing to do. We get to see so much more of what happened during Promise Me This, answers to questions that I didn’t even know I had. And of course I love the characters! Final Thoughts: This was a great finish to the story, I was left with no questions, and everything was neatly tied up and handed to me in a bow. I will definitely miss Jhett and Charlie, and although I was a little disappointed with the length of the book to begin with, I really don’t think it needed to be any longer. If it was longer I think it would have just been a lot of filler and stuff that we don’t really need. I am not generally a fan of novellas, but this one was so well written that I didn’t even remember it was one until I realized it only took a few hours to read it. Oh! And that ending, I absolutely LOVED it! It was the sweetest cutest thing EVER!
