This is a pretty good story about a woman who falls in love with her boss but due to terrible events, she is forced to leaves him. Without giving away details, she ends up in the arms of another man in order to protect her ex husband. The battle between the men, her conflicting emotions for the both of them and the drama in the middle makes for a good story. It was well written though I found an error or two but I was able to read it without a problem. I definitely recommend this one. The ending was pretty good. Looking forward to a sequel.

I read this book in one weekend. Loved it but wish it hadn't ended the way it did. Don't get me wrong. Ending was great but now I have to wait for the next book to see what happens. Hope it comes out soon. Team Mike all the way!

Great story. The author has a way of describing thoughts, feelings & surroundings so that readers are able to capture all the emotions. She makes you feel like you're living the moment. I did find a few typos and grammar errors but it was easy to read. I'm looking forward to more from this talented writer.

This book was inspired by Andromeda, and as I have never seen it, I was coming at the book oblivious to anything on the show. Even though that was the case, I never felt like I didn't know part of story, or that I was missing something. The Author's Bio says that she was inspired by V.C. Andrews, and there is a certain feeling in her writing that reminds me of V.C. Andrews books (which I love btw). The story revolves around an intense love that is sometimes incredibly sweet and other times brutal. I love the almost soap opera feel that it had throughout the book, as I sat on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next in the dark twists. The story line was told from the point of view of all character's. Most of the books I read create tension and suspense by not knowing what the other characters are really feeling. This was the opposite and I loved knowing their innermost thoughts and feelings, making me feel as though I was watching the story unfold from all sides. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I am looking forward to the second!

JL Rayven spins a thrilling web in her first novel that is equal parfs sci-fi and romance! She has a way of flushing out the emotions of her characters that makes it all seem very real, from inter-galactic battles to personal confrontations! She isn't afraid to showcase the often "too human" side of her heroes and heroines; proving that the course of true love often doesn't run smooth! I never knew what would happen next, and look forward to more from this exciting author!
