I picked this story to read because of the atoryline and the heroine being plus size which of itself is fresh idea from Ms. Jamison. But, let say, I was disappointed with this effort. The story seemed to jump into the middle of the from the very beginning. The men in the story were never properly introduced. All of the introductory information was done as if this was a two part story and this was part two. There are 3 books in the series, so far, but the site summary didn't indicate that they needed to be read in sequence. I thought this was a stand-alone story. It just seemed to be thrown together and incomplete.
