Sigmund Freud believed that psychoanalysis (and other forms of therapy) was not suitable for people over 50 years of age. In Psychological Therapies with Older People, the authors demonstrate the value of a range of psychological interventions with older people, showing that it is 'not too late' to help.
With an emphasis on practical application, and using a wide range of clinical examples, the authors describe the therapies most likely to be useful in a mental health service for older people, and consider the implications for service provision. Therapies covered include:
* interpersonal therapy (IPT)
cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
* psychodynamic and systemic therapy
* cognitive analytical therapy (CAT).
For each treatment, the historical background and basic theoretical model is summarised before giving a description of the therapy in practice. The authors also discuss the theory of the use of evidence of efficacy and effectiveness in choosing therapeutic interventions, summarising currently available data.
Psychological Therapies with Older People will be an invaluable resource for psychiatrists and psychologists working with older people, as well as to GPs, nurses and occupational therapists.

ignore rules 1 and 4 on mates and pups
Basics
1. Post a biography of your wolf BEFORE you ask to join.
2. Always post with one star.
3. You will not be allowed to join if you have bad grammar.
4. We attack anything, and everything we want.
5. You cannot join as a pup.
6. One character per RPer.
7. No unusual colors, markings, or any acsessories. No godmodding, power-playing, magical powers, etc.
8. Have a symbol or message for identification in case of imposter. Private books work, too, but still have a symbok or message.
9. No raiding without informing an Alpha. At least do not tell the victim(s) who is attacking.
10. Obey all rules, as they are all punishabke by death or being kicked out.
Mates and Pups
1. You can have up to three mates.
2. You can have as many litters as you want, as long as each has no more than six and no less than three pups.
3. You cannot have a mate until you are a week old. And ask an Alpha before you do.
4. You cannot mate until you are 4 days old, and you aren't having pups.
5. When a pup has turned four days old, they will have a ceremony and receive a trainer.
6. Trainers cannot be an expecting mother, a nursing mother, an elderly, or younger than the wolf they are training.
7. Pups must be described reasonably. The pup has to have the colors of their parents or grandparents. A black and white grandparent can have a black and white mixed pup, and a brown if one of their parents are some what brown. Their offspring can have either a white, black, or brown. This is just an example. You can ask questions if you don't understand.
8. You can RP your pups until someone else takes their place, but you cannot keep any to RP yourself.
9. When you get a mate, think of a Warrior like last name. For exmaple: (Normal name) Willow (Last name) MarbleStorm.
10. You cannot have another litter until the previous has started training.
Other
1. There are NO ranks besides Alpha, Beta, and Delta. There will be no Med Wolf. You will have to help eachother. Ranks will be chosen by Alpha.
2. No mating at camp results, find your own private book.
3. Don't give out information on who will be raided next, or anything that can ruin our reputation.
4. Highest rank on is in charge.
5. Raids will be held ONLY when both Alphas are on. Single, partner raids, and small raids can be held, but no full on raids.
All rules must be obeyed. Bad grammar will be fixed to a ledgible form. Occasional typos will be excused, though if spelling becomes a problem, it will be fixed immedeatley. We understand if it is difficult, but we all want to become a very popular RP, yes?
We are Evil. Act like it.
That is out motto.
