COMPANION NOVEL to the TANGLED WEB series

Kory McCallister has had her eyes on tattoo artist Stone Bowman for quite some time--so long, in fact, that no other guy will do. Stone pushes every turn on button Kory has--he's tattooed from head to toe; he's hot; he's funny and charming; and he's also mysterious. So when Kory's friends dare her to ask Stone out on a date, she can't believe she actually finds the guts to do it.

More surprising? He takes her up on the offer.

She discovers that, while his past might not be quite as dark or mysterious as she'd imagined, it's bigger than she'd expected, and it's something she will need to contend with if she decides she wants to keep him around to color her life for good.

Meet the Author

Jade C. Jamison was born and raised in Colorado and has decided she likes it enough to stay forever. Jade's day job is teaching Creative Writing, but teaching doesn't stop her from doing a little writing herself.

Unfortunately, there's no one genre that quite fits her writing. Her work has been labeled romance, erotica, suspense, and women's fiction, and the latter is probably the safest and closest description. But you'll see that her writing doesn't quite fit any of those genres.

You'll have to discover Jade's writing for yourself to decide if you like it.

3 1/2 stars Kory has had a thing for Stone for years. She sees him nearly every month to get a piercing - 1: because she believes they are soul mates and 2: she's trying to get over her fear of needles. She finally gets the nerve up to ask him for a date...and he says YES. She can barely believe it. They finally sit down and have a conversation - albeit with very limited topics. He's actually looking for the real deal and cannot believe that she doesn't know who he is. They are both hiding BIG secrets about their past. As their relationship grows, some secrets are let out gradually. There aren't really a lot of bumps in the road, but I never fully connected to the characters. It was a good story about overcoming your past, fears and demons while also opening your heart. It was a quick read with likable characters who are fairly quick witted. I would recommend this book.

Kory has a major crush on tattoo artist Stone and at the encouragement of her friends. Both have secrets from their past. Are they willing to expose themselves emotionally to each other for love? A sexy entertaining read with an emotional punch. The story grips you as you watch these two broken people put their lives back to and risk love.

Kory has a crush on the owner of the local tattoo parlor. Stone has been piercing Kory's body for a little over a year...it's the only way Kory knows to get close to him. She feels there is no way someone as hot as Stone would date a plain girl like her. When her friends dare her to ask him out, she's shocked when he says yes! But Stone has secrets...just like Kory does...and sharing doesn't come easy to either of them. This was an easy read although I felt like areas could be have been explored more. A good read. *I received this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review Kory MCCalister was going to see Stone Boronan. He was her dream guy. She had a fear of needles, but had been pierced many times by Stone. The first time she went to the shop was two years ago. Stone was co-owner of the tattoo shop, The Iron Maiden. Kory often felt she didn't belong anywhere on the planet. Kory and her friends Lacy and Tina met every Wednesday at noon at the Main Street Cafe. Her friends push Kory to ask Stone out. She finally does and they go have pizza together. Stone asked Kory if she trusted him to give her a tattoo and she lets him. Kory had a really bad childhood. She thought she had gotten through everything but... Kory is a tough girl because she has to be. She is a survivor. She didn't have much self-esteem, but through the twists in this story, she grew and changed until she was able to trust and love. Stone also had a bad childhood, but he also had secrets, one he kept so people would like him for himself. He was leery of people, yet he was caring, honest and kind. He is a very artistic person and a good man. He also had his own journey to go through. It was very enjoyable watching both of them go through their journey. I loved this book and would highly recommend it.

This is Kory and Stone's story.  I gave this book 5 stars.  First off Jade is one of my most favorite Authors, I read all that she has out and eat it up like it was the best thing that ever happened. This story did not disappoint. Jade has many different sides to her story telling and you never know what to expect. I loved this book from the very first paragraph and fell more in love with these two characters as the story continued to progress.  Kory is young. She falls for Stone, a tattoo and piercing artist. When she finally gets up the nerve to get to know him, that is when the sparks start to fly. He tries to deny her because she is a lot younger then him, but soon the way they both feel takes over and they have to learn to deal with the fact that they are in each others lives for the long haul. Both have baggage. Stone feels like his will be a deal breaker, where Kory is more afraid that she won't be able to let Stone in the way she should. She shares her demons easier then Stone does, but that is a man for you. They have obstacles that they have to get through, and a lot of eye opening situations, but when it all comes down to it life always has a way of working out, fate comes in and gives you what you deserved even if you had to wait a long time to get it. Thanks Jade for another amazing book by you. I can't wait to read what you have coming up next!!! <3
