Purple Little Bird loves purple, but something about his purple house is not perfect so he leaves to find a more suitable home. During his journey he runs into different animals like Gray Goat, Brown Bear, and Pink Possums and tries to live with them, but none of places were perfect. Will he ever find his picture-perfect home? The plot is simple with repetition as Bird tries various locations to find his home. Each new location uses a new main color (grey, brown, pink). The colorbook-like illustrations use thick, black lines outlining the characters and appear to be filled in with crayon, however, the illustrated colors ¿outside¿ of the lines similar to how a young child might color. The use of single colors per character will help children learn their colors. Recommended for children ages 3-7.
