The books gives explanation of how architects decided where to place pyramids, how they were built in Egypt, what the purpose of pyramids were for, and how the Kings were mummified. The clear inserted pages are a great addition to the book making the images look three-dimensional. I thought the text was accurate and simple enough for beginner readers to understand. I rely enjoyed how at the end of the book there were pictures and descriptions of different styles of pyramids and where they are located (either in Egypt or outside of Egypt), the world's seven wonders, and the world's famous buildings. This would be a great book to use when teaching about Ancient Egypt.
