To truly enjoy this CD, one should relax, let your imagination run wild and listen to the stories behind the music. Some of the lyrics are not in English so be warned but they are compelling none the less. It is hard to classify this type of music into a genre but it has a electronic characteristic to go along with what might be considered classical undertones. The female lead singer does a wonderful job in expressing emotion and mystique, almost as if she were telling a fairy tale. I think if you like Loreena McKennit or the Dralion CD of Cirque du Soliel then you will enjoy this music. This CD will probably be unlike any others that you have, but it is well worth it. The tiny tidbits you can sample (here on B&N) can give you only a brief taste of how good this CD really is...listening to the entire CD is really a must to appreciate the full depth of this CD. If you like those short tidbits you will probably love the CD.
