This book combines 4 Little Blessings volumes (What is God Like? What Is Prayer? What About Heaven? Are Angels Real?), all of which use whimsical rhyming text to answer questions about God, heaven, angels, and prayer. Little Blessings “questions” books are known for their heartwarming text and delightful multicultural characters. Each question is answered using Scripture, fun poetry, and the adorable characters. The questions include: What is God Like? What Is Prayer? What About Heaven? Are Angels Real? The answers are theologically sound and thorough, yet child-friendly. Bible references follow each section.

"I'll love you forever,
whatever you do,
For nothing can separate
my love from you."
Questions From Little Hearts is an inviting little volume full of sweet illustrations of children (and when I say full I mean it - kids are going to love all the pictures!) and answers to questions our little ones might have. These questions and answers are simply presented through whimsical rhyme and in a way that will help kids see that their questions are normal - and that they can all be answered in the bible. The first questions ask about God:
"Are you big? Are you little? Are you short or tall? Can you really see me when I am so small? Are you strong or gentle? Are you ever sad? Do you have a temper like me when I'm mad?"
I like that the questions are written to God and answered by God, encouraging children to talk to Him in a personal way and not to be ashamed of their questions. The answers from God are printed in italics and the verse stays very similar in wording to verses in the Bible describing God, which I LOVE of course.
"I'm strong as a fortress, a rock, and a shield,
but gentle as rain falling softly on fields."
Questions from Little Hearts is an omnibus of four books in one. Each book or chapter asks a question: What is God Like? What is Prayer? What About Heaven? Are Angels Real? At the end of each chapter you'll find a helpful collection of bible references. I found this book to be a treasure - I can't wait to read it to my little girl!
