I just went on a quilting bus trip and I chose to remember my trip by buying fat quarters at each shop at which we stopped. Now what do I make with all those fat quarters? This book provides that answer. 17 patterns give me a wide selection from which to choose. The next big question is which one do I start with? The patterns range from simple blocks and half triangles to ones that contain applique. Each pattern has a color photo and finished block and quilt sizes. It also tells you which type of blocks are used to make that particular quilt if it is more than squares or half triangles. Material and cutting lists are clearly written as is the instructions for the pattern itself. Graphics help those of us who are more visual. A colored box givens extra tips. The finishing instruction describes the design used to quilt the quilt. Now all I have to do is find those spare moments and begin my bus trip memory quilt.
