This is going to be a confusing review...so be prepared. I thought the book was absolutely great. It started off fast paced and drew you into the adventure immediately. However, it is only 79 pages and just barely begins the tale of what turns normal teens into paranormal super teens. No matter how great the start is...that's all it is...a beginning. I'm not sure what the author was thinking by releasing the book before it was finished. The editing is terrible and the boy from Scotland needs to lose his accent and leave it up to the reader's imagination because it detracts from the flow of the conversation. All that being said I still think you will enjoy this small piece of the pie. If the writer finishes the book as well as it started it will definitely be a winner. Jp

Why do they have different parts? Instead of making 65 page books why dknt they just put the parts together? It makes a lot more sense like that. Also the book was REALLY good

After reading Seventh Mark, I didn't know think W.J. May could top it. I was wrong. Radium Halos is absolutely AWESOME. I cannot wait to read more. If you love young adult fantasy, you simply have to check out this book and this author.

This was a good book. It is geared for teens, but it did keep my interest! Meet Zoe & her friends who after being trapped in a mine during a storm develop "ultra" senses, such as sound, sight and smell. The book was well paced and the descriptions during the storm really helped visualize that something more was going on. It is a short story. I would have liked for Ms Mays to go further and explain how Zoe and friends were coping w/their extra sense w/out getting the headaches. I think teens will really enjoy this! Best wishes to Ms May!

65 page free well-written story of six teenagers in a paranormal situation and their adventures. Very good reading! Also a 3 chapter excerpt of the sequel to the story. Plus an excerpt to another free book by May. Happy reading!

Radium Halos is a short and sweet read. It left me wanting more from this story and the characters. Zoe and her friends take cover in an old mine when a sudden thunderstorm hits. The next day they each realize that they have some kind of supernatural sense. Each one is different from the others. The only one who did not receive any kind of supernatural sense is the new guy Kieran. They all decide for now that they are going to keep this all between them and not tell anyone else. They want to learn and develop their new senses more. Since this is a short book we only get a glimpse of what is to come. I liked the characters and the plot is interesting. It is just starting to develop. I'm excited to read more and see what the author does with this story. This e-book was provided to me by the author for review. This did not affect my review in any way.
