In 1989 he became a licensed Realtor® like his father and like his Grandfather; one of nine instrumental in raising the Standards of Real Estate Sales to National Association of Realtors® (N.A.R.) and starting the Puerto Rico Real Estate Board, in the U.S. Territory of Puerto Rico.
Between 1993 thru 2006, with limited derelict financial resources and under distressful circumstances, in order to honor the loving memory of his grandmother and the dignity of his father, he managed for his father all his real estate properties and attended his basic health care needs; while living under infra human living conditions at 1516 Martin Travieso, Santurce, Puerto Rico. Some of these events between the 1993 to 2006 are listed in the book titled: Designation of Matter To Be Included in Case No. NSCI201200385.
Believing Ancestor's who symbolize causes and ideas fill a deep human need to live usefully and walk humbly he authored and published his own ancestral genealogy; a pictorial trace of ancestors' unique story and family tree contributions in the larger historical picture; and published for a second time, Antropología Medica y Jurídica, the book his great-grandfather wrote and also published for a second time, EL PRIMER TRIBUNAL SUPREMO de PUERTO RICO, the book his grand-uncle wrote.
In 2012 Rafael Mariano Nido started NIDO Cellarium as an independent virtual retail distribution end for Books and Fine Art published by him to make known thoughts and feelings of fundamental ontological truth lived by him; an oracle on how to live fairly and unassumingly.
