From the Manhattan Project to the future and beyond, Rainhut is a science fiction adventure novel that proves intellectually and spiritually satisfying. When a hand-picked team of brilliant but eccentric scientists are brought together at a secret research facility on the island of Kauai, they are challenged with finding solutions to mankind's most difficult unsolved problems. Gambling everything, the team parts with traditional Euclidean thinking and follows the unconventional dare-to-know philosophy of their leader, James Stevenson. With a mountain of hope resting on their success, they rise to the occasion and leave paradise and earth itself in order to preserve it.
