This has been a wonderful series. I thoroughly enjoyed each book and had great difficulty putting them down. The main characters draw you in. The action and danger can be intense. They all remain 18+ rated for sexual content that is not excessive. I admit to a small amount of disappointment to the ending of Raising Hell as it seemed to be a little bit anticlimactic to me. To explain further would be a Spoiler Alert so you will have to enjoy the book and form your own opinion. Mallory Crowe has a winning series. Please enjoy it!

RAISE HELL is the fifth installment in Mallory Crowe’s contemporary, adult THE BEWITCHING HOUR serialized paranormal, romance series focusing on Detective Derek Pierce, and reluctant witch Samantha Harris. RAISE HELL should not be read as a stand alone as there is a continuing premise and plot throughout, and picks up immediately after the events of book four-A Little Wicked. NOTE: If you have not read the previous installments there may be some spoilers in my review. Told from several third person perspectives including Samantha and Derek, RAISE HELL is the continuing story of reluctant witch and supernatural royalty Samantha Harris, and Detective Derek Pierce- a man who is no longer wholly human. With Derek’s recent flirtation with the ‘darkness and death’ our hero’s return to the realm of the living brings together the intrepid group of ‘ghost busting’ friends whose search for the lost journals of Samantha’s recently deceased grandmother Abigail Harris finds the ragtag band in over their heads where the darkness is concerned. Claire Smith returns as a powerful beacon to the ‘darkness’; Dante’s ability to mind read pushes the boundaries of friendship and privacy; and Detective Angela Parker, with her awareness of the supernatural finds herself in some unusual circumstances. RAISE HELL focuses on the search for knowledge; for information regarding their ever increasing powers; the ‘darkness’ that wants something in return; and a ghost town where spirits both past and present cause chaos and havoc for Samantha and her friends. The premise is entertaining and intriguing; the characters are colorful, dynamic and charismatic; the romance continues to build throughout the series.

Great series! I'm so sad to see it end :( Mallory had yet to let me down . I really can't say much about this book without giving anything away since it's the last one. Derek and Dan have been 'upgraded' so to speak. They still have that deep connection that makes everything tick. I loved this series and this book ended well. If I could I would keep it going. Enjoy!!

Raise Hell is the last book in Mallory Crowe's paranormal series "The Bewitching Hour" and it's a good one. There is mystery, suspense, battling witches, 2 hellhounds acting like pets. How can you not get behind hellhounds behaving like pets? That is so cool! I loved it! **SPOILERS** We pick up where book 4 left off with Claudia dead, Derek has been brought back from the dead, Abigail still infected with the darkness and Sam with her newly acquired powers from Claudia. Sam knows she needs Derek's and his new abilities along with Claire to defeat the darkness but has no clue how to do it. They end up bringing back an enemy, who knows how to defeat the darkness but once he very unwilling gives a clue, and before they can send him back to hell, he gets lose from the "prison" they had him trapped in and disappears. The team end up going to the last place that the darkness infected many years ago to try to figure out how Claudia defeated it then. As they are searching the haunted town, the ghosts start to attack them and they barely get unharmed but they did get the clue (a diary) thanks to the hellhounds. Now they just need to figure out what to do with it and save the world. This is an amazing book! I could not read it fast enough. Mallory has a way of writing that just sucks you into the story and you feel like you are there with them fighting the darkness. I hope that Mallory will write more of this series later on, maybe like a Christmas story or maybe a Sam and Derek baby story. That would be a must read. I recommend this book, series, and author! You will not be disappointed. I volunteered to read a pre-release copy for my honest opinion. I knew I would like it and pre-ordered it as soon as I was able to and I was not wrong.

Wow, Wow, Wow! Oh wow! I loved how everything played out, but it honestly leaves you wondering about some things! I hope there is another book or spin off series that will fill in the blanks! Great story- did not move while reading it... stayed throughout the whole thing to see what happened!!! Truly enjoyed it! I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This review was difficult to write without Spoiler Alerts. I finally was able to avoid them, Lol. So, what I will say is the book left me on the edge of my seat throughout. This is not your basic romantic suspense book. It was exciting, fast paced, thrilling, and intense. You still got Derek and Sam's romance, and some answers to some questions. What an end to a series! But then, you have to wonder, is it really the end? What did Derek offer to seal the deal?

Raise Hell is the fifth and final book in the Bewitching Hour series. This should not be read as a standalone as it starts where the cliffhanger ended in Book Four. There is violence and witch craft. There are hot steamy sex scenes so 18+. The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that all of that info here. This book had a twist on the typical storyline, which I liked. The witch families remind me of mafia families which makes this storyline more interesting. The author did a good job of describing the setting and making the main characters (Sam and Derek) relatable. Overall this is a good series and worth the time spent reading it. As this is the last book in the series which made this book bittersweet to read.

The Final Fight. Another exciting, fast paced adventure which had me hooked till the very end. The story concludes with a HFN ending. Personally, I would have liked an epilogue, several years into the future with Sam settled into her new role and perhaps with children. Note: this is NOT a standalone book but a conclusion to a series. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.
