One of the best series I've read in a long time, just couldn't put it down! I can't wait for the next one!

Other than wishing the book we longer, I continue to be pleased with Asher's work. Damian, Zola and company continue to protect their little corner of the world from the no-longer-secret things that go bump in the night (and the day). I find the mini history lessons fascinating. The banter between our heroes always makes me smile, if not chuckle out loud. I can't wait to read what happens next.

Damian's wry comments, and his relationships, plus the author's excellent world-building, make this series so much fun to read! Start at the beginning of the series. I'm eagerly waiting the next installment. Highly recommended.

3.5 stars. Rattle the Bones is the sixth book in the Vesik series. This can be read as a standalone, but I highly suggest you read the books in order so you understand the entire background story since it starts where the previous book ends. While it does not end in a traditional cliffhanger, it is clear the story doesn't end here. There is a lot of violence and gore so 18+. The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that all of that info here. This story continues what was started in the first five books. The battle with the Fae King and the Undine Queen and their followers continue to cause problems. Will Damien, Zola, and friends be able to stop them? As losses mount on both sides, the stakes get higher, especially for Damien. Will I continue to read future books in the series? Of course I will.

One of my my favorite series and this book does not disappoint. I already can't wait for the next book. I would strongly suggest you read the other books in the series before this one.
