But when danger enters Ayden's life again, even Lyric might not be able to help him.

I didn't think this series could be better than the Secrets series, but Ms. Sorensen may have outdone herself. So far the second generation of Scott's and Gregory's have the same perfect mix of angst, with a very interesting twist. I love that I'm learning about the characters I discovered when I first read of Elle and Micha, but she has me hooked with this new couple.

A 120 page story and second in series with the troubled and abused young man in conflict and terror on the process of remembering his brutal past that is pursuing him and his new family, and his conflict with the changing relationship with his friend and neighbor. Music lyrics presented as thoughts throughout the chapters that are presented as back and forth stories from the main two characters perspectives. Rough language from first page to end with intense makeout sessions between the two main characters. Cliffhanger ending as lead in to next in series. Will not be purchasing for the next 100 pages to pursue the dramatic amd angst driven next story.

I enjoy the way Jessica Sorensen can weave a story. Raveling You is filled with angst and suspense but also love and tenderness. Ayden and Lyrics relationship is based on friendship but the passion they feel for each other and their music is undeniable. However, the trauma from Aydens childhood keeps the young couple from truly moving forward. Will Ayden uncover the secrets from his past and overcome his fears so he can fully commit to Lyric and their future?

This book is very dark. I had to buy the whole series of course but it was a wonderful read. Great writing.

I have read just about every book from Jessica Sorenson and have never been disappointed. I love Lyric and her caring outgoing personality and her unconditional love and patience. Ayden is sweet, caring, loyal, and you really feel for him and your heart breaks. It a great story and definitely worth the read.

This book seems to be a bit slower than the first book. I like reading Ayden's POV better than Lyrics because more seems to be happening with him. I wish that he can remember more about his past, especially to help his sister. I hope the next book picks up its pace because this series has so much potential and it was one I was really looking forward to read

Reviewed by Annie and posted at Under The Covers Book Blog First off I have to start by saying that this series needs to be read in order. Sorensen starts this book where the previous book, Unraveling You ends. Ayden Gregory and Lyric Scott have formed a strong friendship. With Lyric’s happy-go-lucky attitude, it’s easy to fall into their rhythm of things. She is just so uplifting and fun that it nicely balances out the darkness that comes with what Ayden is trying to get through. After the unexpected death of his brother, Felix, Ayden is forced to come to terms with what happened to him. His memories still seemed to be locked up so with the help of a therapist, he is doing all he can to try and remember what happened to him so that he can help the police find the people who did this to his brother. While all that is happening, Lyric and Ayden’s band are working hard to get their first gig. When Lyric’s father has an opening in a tour he is organizing, it’s their one chance to prove to the world, and herself that she is capable of fulfilling her dreams. My favorite thing about this book is that we get Lyric and Ayden’s full story from the very beginning as they start off as strangers and become friends. Sorensen does a fantastic job of building their trust in one another in the first book and then slowly tests that in the secrets that Ayden keeps from Lyric. The secrets are starting to eat at him and until he can find out what happened to his brother and sister, he will remain distant. Lyric knows this and does everything she can to help him. That’s what I love about her. She’s all or nothing and her devotion to Ayden makes her very endearing. RAVELING YOU ends on another cliffhanger. Sorensen enjoys drawing out the suspense and with the last few pages, readers are bound to be begging for the next book. I cannot wait to see what happens to Lyric and Ayden, but also to see what she has planned for Sage who Sorensen has made some advancements with. Either way, Jessica Sorensen is an author everyone should be reading. Her books aren’t simple angsty NA. There’s plenty of depth and emotion to them and paired with the unexpected twists and turns, Sorensen remains as one of my favorite go-to authors!
