Irmela Lilja is a health and human resources journalist. She is a vegetarian whose diet includes a high percentage of raw foods.

Great for those testing the waters of a raw food diet. The recipes are beautifully illustrated and ridiculously simple to prepare. No dehydrator needed!

Love the book, Love the recipes but no Recipe Index, really? It's a chore to find the recipe I want. There is a Contents page, Nutritional Information, Inspirational Books section, and Resources, why not an index, too? BTW - Awesome pictures.

I have a half dozen raw food books, and this one is fantastic. I think that it is geared towards someone who is just moving into the raw food life style, and doesn't really know what is needed or how to do things. It is a fantastic book, and I enjoy it everytime I read it. I love the lay out, the content, and just everything about it. This book is a super book and I recommend it to everyone, even if you are only thinking about eating raw, or have been in the life style for years. This book will be enjoyed.
