Ryker finally told me what happened all those months ago. He explained his distance, his coldness.
Now everything makes sense.
I've been with Zeke for a long time now, and everything is exactly how I want it to be.
I adore him.
No, I love him.
But there's a warning deep in my gut. Zeke is acting differently, and Ryker isn't the same either.
It's the calm before the storm.
I can feel it.

Rae, Zeke and the gang are characters you wont forget. A series you will enjoy from start to finish.
I would give this series more than 5 Stars if I could! BEST SERIES EVER ... and I'm a avid reader! Rex warned Zeke not to tell Rae (which I don't agree with) that he slept with another woman that night he saw her and Ryker together in the restaurant. Rex knows she would never forgive him, but Zeke being the honest guy he is, tells her because he knows he would never be able to look her in the eye day after day ... and, of course, she is devastated. Who does she turn to ... you guessed it - Ryker! At first they are just friends, even though Ryker wants her back as his girlfriend, he is willing to take anything he can get and if she is just offering friendship, that is what he'll take. That is until she learns something else about Zeke ... I can't tell you though, I don't want to spoil it for you. This book had me so mad at times ... it really pissed me off that everyone (Rex, Jessie, Kayden) said that Zeke is not a cheater ... well I don't know about you, but in my books he cheated big time! They hated Ryker when he left Rae ... and he technically didn't cheat on her because he broke up with her first. I felt really sorry for Ryker because I thought he got a raw deal ... even Rae forgave him, but the friends didn't. But they had no trouble forgiving Zeke ... that still makes me mad. Anyway, I just noticed that there is going to be a book 6 and I'm so exited about that because there is still a part of the story to be told. I graciously received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for a honest review.
Argh the conclusion of the Ray series!! E.L. Todd brought it and then some! So a reflection back to when these series started. I honestly will say that I am pretty good at picking out who the heroine at the end will choose if there a multiple lovers involved and the book is not a MFM. So with my previous review you can figure I choose Ryker all the way. Wow in Ray of Heart Ryker shows you a side of himself that breaks my heart. I want him for myself. Yes I think I will stake my claim and be his forever! What I loved about this book and series in general is that the story line was not what I expected. Completely unpredictable. I knew where the story turns to a different perspective, but I guess I thought it would go back to the way it started out originally. Yes I know I am blabbering. I loved the ending so much. Not sure what I am talking about? Then One -Click this series. We find Rae and Zeke where we left off in the last book. Devastated and hardly living without each other. Ryker this time helps Rae in away that he has never had. Simply opening up to her and being a friend. Rae needs all the support she has. But it takes an army of friends and family to show that her happily ever after is still right in front of her! I love the epilogue as we get to experience and celebrate these characters lives. This series ended really well. The characters were well developed and grew along with each book. I definitely give this book 5 stars!!
Last in this series. A much better story than the previous book. There is both steam and story. Good read.
