Re: Joyce offers readers of James Joyce a significant collection of new essays from an international array of prominent and emerging Joyce scholars from around the world. Combining a wide range of theoretical approaches, this collection intervenes with current debates about Joyce's work and the place of Joyce in the academy, while addressing all principal areas of Joycean scholarship. In addition to this, the volume raises issues relevant to the study of Joyce in the context of modernism. About the Author

Julian Wolfreys is Professor of Modern Literature and Culture at Loughborough University, UK. He was previously Professor in Literature at the University of Florida, USA. His teaching and research is concerned with 19th- and 20th-century British literary and cultural studies, literary theory, the poetics and politics of identity, and the idea of the city. He is the series editor of Transitions and has written many course texts for Literature students, notably The English Literature Companion.
