Where is the sixth star? Reach up for the Sunrise: An unauthorized biography of Duran Duran by Jen Selinsky is definitely worthy of more than five stars. It is well researched, well written and full of everything about one of my favorite bands, Duran Duran. I was surprised how much I learned, especially since I’m a Duranie myself. I’ve been a Duranie since their beginning when I was in middle school. I still have the album Seven and the Ragged Tiger in vinal. In fact, my first celebrity crush was Simon LeBon. And yes, his poster dominated a space on my wall! I’m even listening to Duran Duran as I write this review. After reading Reach Up For The Sunrise, I immediately went on uTube and spent hours rewatching my favorite Duran Duran music videos. It invoked so many great memories from my preteen and teenage years. After being a great fan for over thirty years, I finally got see Duran Duran in concert in 2016 in St. Augustine, FL for their Paper Gods tour. And Duran Duran still rocks! I highly recommend Reach Up For the Sunrise for all Duran Duran fans both new and vintage! Terri Talley Venters, Author of Elements Of Mystery Books
