About the Author
Jen Selinsky was born in Pittsburgh, PA. In 2003, she earned her bachelor's degree in English from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. In 2004, she earned her master's degree in library science from the same school. Jen has worked as a professional librarian for over twelve years. She has published more than 170 books, most of which contain poetry. Her work can be found on the following sites: Lulu, Amazon, iTunes, Kobo, Barnes & Noble/Nook, Smashwords, and Pen It! Publications. She has also been featured in publications such as: The Courier Journal, Explorer Magazine, Liphar Magazine, and Indiana Libraries. Jen lives in Sellersburg, IN with her husband.

Where is the sixth star? Reach up for the Sunrise: An unauthorized biography of Duran Duran by Jen Selinsky is definitely worthy of more than five stars. It is well researched, well written and full of everything about one of my favorite bands, Duran Duran. I was surprised how much I learned, especially since I’m a Duranie myself. I’ve been a Duranie since their beginning when I was in middle school. I still have the album Seven and the Ragged Tiger in vinal. In fact, my first celebrity crush was Simon LeBon. And yes, his poster dominated a space on my wall! I’m even listening to Duran Duran as I write this review. After reading Reach Up For The Sunrise, I immediately went on uTube and spent hours rewatching my favorite Duran Duran music videos. It invoked so many great memories from my preteen and teenage years. After being a great fan for over thirty years, I finally got see Duran Duran in concert in 2016 in St. Augustine, FL for their Paper Gods tour. And Duran Duran still rocks!
