Ready or Not is an "everything you need to know to prosper in life and love" guide, summed up in easy-to-follow guide posts. This book of golden nuggets is a great way to express your love for someone who is ready to start life after graduation!

I purchased this book for my graduating daughter but took the opportunity to read it through first. I was hooked. Before long Lisa Shultz wasn't speaking to an 18-year old embarking on her first freedoms but to her middle aged mother. I realized how many of these basic, lovely life principles had fallen from my focus and how I needed to put them back. This little book is designed to be read and to be kept for frequent referral. The suggested reading list at the back identifies many of Lisa Shultz's sources for her wisdoms - books that are current gold standards on success and spirituality compressed into this wonderful gift book. I am buying one for myself because just like my little girl, I am Ready or Not for what life holds. A must read and a must buy.

Ready or Not is a very insightful book. Lisa is observant of life's meaningful actions and clearly outlines the ways to a fuller and more productive life without being preachy. Although the book is written with the new graduate in mind, the ideas and tips are applicable to everyone and can be used as a reference in all stages of life.

l"Ready or Not, Tips for the New Grad" is a very quick and easy read, perfect for the busy student. It provides a lot of easily understood and simple tips for managing life outside of the academic studies normally focused on. It can be referenced for use over and over again, as the author does not fill page after page with meaningless examples, yet does provide an extensive list of related books for those who wish to explore the subjects further. Many of the suggestions are "common sense", however if they were really common, we wouldn't need to be reminded of them. This book would also suit adults looking for a confidence boost, as it offers great advice for putting (and keeping) a positive outlook on life. I would recommend it for young and older adults, whether graduating or not.

Think Positive! Positive thoughts create a positive vibration of energy around you, which attracts people and circumstances to you that match those thoughts." This and many other helpful tidbits of information are contained in Ready or Not, Tips for the New Grad. Looking for a graduation guest book? This little book is a perfect place for your party guests to leave their own advice to the new grad. Find a favorite page and add to it, and the book can be a lasting reminder to the graduate of the people who love and support them. I like the sections in the back for writing down dreams or a bucket list, as well as the bibliography of books to read for life success.  Jan Haas

We are often presented with advice that seems obvious - and that's the very reason we need to be reminded! Lisa Shultz does that in this clever little book. And the advice is not only appropriate for school grads, but grads from all stages of life! What a great stocking stuffer and how lucky the recipient will be to receive it!
