About the Author

Olivia Dade grew up an undeniable--and proud--nerd, prone to ignoring the world around her as she read any book she could find. Her favorite stories, though, were always romances. As an adult, she earned an M.A. in American history and worked in a variety of jobs that required her to hide her bawdy interior under a demure exterior: Colonial Williamsburg interpreter, high school teacher, academic tutor, and (of course) librarian. Finally, though, she realized the call of the hussy could no longer be denied. So now she writes contemporary romantic comedy with plenty of sex, banter, and nerdery. When not writing, she cooks alongside her husband, dabbles in photography, and tries to hide her collection of throbbing-intensive romances from her curious daughter. Visit her on the web at

A snazzy little love story that will tickle your funny bone while you fall in love with Sarah and Chris. Lots of hot banter between the two and just enough steamy sex to keep you turning the pages. Very well written and I'll be looking for more by this author. I always appreciate a free read so THANKS Olivia.

Drama Queen Wants a Man. Rated 3.5 stars. This is the fourth book in the Lovestruck Librarians series. The series is about a group of friends who are librarians. If you read all the books, you have a better idea of who they all are. But each book can be read as a standalone and don't have a cliffhanger. The sex is hot and steamy so definitely 18+. The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat all of that info here. The author did a good job of giving the two main characters, Sarah and Chris, real emotions and explaining their past relationship backgrounds in spite of this being a quick read. Be aware that this is an "insta-love" storyline and events move extremely quickly. This is a short book so settings and characters aren't always as well described or as developed as they could be. But you have to expect that in a short read and suspend your belief a little more than usual. I did enjoy this story even with the insta-love storyline that isn't my normal cup of tea. Plus I am liking the series, maybe because of all the time I've spent in libraries over the years. I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I have to admit that Sarah is a hoot and a half. She’s funny, sassy, cute and fun. She runs her mouth but never in a mean spirited way and she just cracks me up. But I also love how much Chris understands her and sees why she says & does these things … although that doesn’t stop him from having his own issues that cloud their interactions occasionally. He was burned horribly by his last relationship and he’s a little hesitant to get involved again, especially with someone who is up front about the fact that she’s trying to win another guy. There’s confusion and a little heartache though I like that Dade doesn’t focus on it. The story is about these two spending time together and falling for each other, but their hang-ups cause for a few misunderstandings and hesitation along the way. And while the romance between the two happens a little fast, Ready to Fall is vastly fun and entertaining. I had a ton of fun reading Mayday and this one, so I’m definitely putting Dade on my go-to author list. (Complimentary copy provided in exchange for an honest review)

What a lovely and fun romance! Sarah has a plan to catch the attention of Ulysses, a co-worker of hers , by spending time alongside him at a bike retreat. He seems like the kind of guy who might be able to put up with her outgoing character and she's not looking for love anymore, just a companion. Trouble is, she and bikes have a rather fractious history and she has never really learned to ride one. Enter Chris, bike repairman, and newly appointed teacher for Sarah (thanks to some finagling from their mutual friends). Chris has been through a bad breakup and is definitely not looking for romance, but feisty dramatic Sarah keeps getting through his defenses. What starts out as a plan to keep his hands firmly off her delectable body ends up with the two of them in bed together and a change of heart - for both of them. I loved the two of them together and as this is a novella length story, things progress quickly since they are in each other's company three days straight to teach Sarah how to ride (and ride she does 'wink, wink'). There is a little misunderstanding to add some drama to the second half but nothing over the top and we get a delightful happy ending. A great addition to the Lovestruck Librarians series! 4 stars.

Ready to Fall (Lovestruck Librarians Book#4) follows Sarah Mayhew and Chris Dean as they recover from past hurts and move on to be together. Like most adults, Sarah and Chris have been hurt in past relationships – Sarah seems to think her big personality tires men out and then they dump her. She’s 32 years old and willing to settle for the next available man, which happens to be Ulysses, the school gym teacher. But she needs to learn how to ride a bicycle in order to impress him, and Helen (heroine from Book #3) suggests Chris teach Sarah. Chris arrived in Nice County about a year ago, licking his wounds from a long-term relationship where he did settle in love. However, his girlfriend left him for another man and he hasn’t quite learned his lesson. The theme of the story is stated early on in the book, “You don’t just want someone to tolerate you. You want someone to love you. For everything you are, not in spite of it.” The external conflict was set up: Sarah wants Ulysses and is willing to settle, but she can’t deny the attraction between her and Chris. While Chris wants to support his struggling bike repair business and needs Sarah’s money to supplement his torture chamber…uh, repair shop. The attraction between Sarah and Chris was believable and moved at a great pace. Even though this story covers four days, Ms. Dade makes the HEA satisfying and realistic. Things that I liked: Again, Ms. Dade is the mistress of snappy dialogue and unique settings (I LURVED the Minnie mini-golf scene and Chris’ shop being compared to a chamber of horrors), loveably nerdy heroines that you want to root for, and guys who’ve been hurt, too. I really appreciate that Sarah and Chris both had issues they were working on and how they helped heal each other. Oftentimes, when I’m reading romance, the heroine is the only one with an internal conflict, but Ms. Dade has consistently demonstrated that men have wounds, too. Things that I was weary of: 1) The breakup over a ‘misunderstanding’, but Ms. Dade made it believable and quick. Overall a great book and a wonderful addition to the Lovestruck Librarians series! I can’t wait to read more. Olivia Dade has quickly become an auto-buy for me.

Ready to Fall is the perfect title for this humerus romance that features a spunky librarian and a grumpy repairman. Sarah is rich character who is full of drama, personality, and heart. She is looking to attract a man by riding with him during an all day bike tour. Unfortunately, she doesn't know how to ride a bike, and is desperate to learn. She approaches friends, who recommend Chris the Grumpy bike repairman. He is new to town and is the perfect foil to Sarah drama. Who does Sarah choose.. Read this fun book to find out! I am a huge fan of Olivia Dade because she writes with the perfect blend of romance, steam, and humor. I loved the first two books in the series and am happy to recommend this book! I was given a free copy for an honest review.

A fun light read that was completely entertaining. School teacher and part time librarian Sarah Mayhew is ready to make some changes in her life. She wants to fall in love and has her sights set on a co-worker. She can't seem to get his attention so she comes up with the perfect way to accomplish that! She's going to attend the cycling retreat her school puts on. One little problem - learning to really ride a bike was never high on her list of musts. So she recruits the local bike repair guy to help her. Well pays him actually. Chris Dean is determined not to repeat past mistakes so when the blonde beauty wants cycling lessons he plans on turning her down but when she offers up the money he really can't say no. This one was great and you don't want to miss it. I definitely recommend it.
