I absolutely LOVE this series! It's funny, full of action, and romance! What's not to love! In this book Glory finally makes the decision to change someone vampire, someone she finds bleeding to death in the alley behind her store. Little does she know that the person she changes, Lucky, will turn out to be a gigantic pain in the arse! Dropping her beloved rock star crush in bed with her as a gift who lucky changed into a vampire! I absolutely love this series and would recommend it to anyone! The only thing i don't like is Blade, aka Glory's long time lover. He's constantly leaving Glory to run around with Mara, and only shows up at the end of the book. I don't understand why Glory is so fascinated with him except for the fact that they have a long history together, other than that he seems like a jerk who only wants to sleep with Glory....ANYWAYS....LOL...This series is GREAT!

I love all the series books and this one did not dissappoint. The story moved with the same flow as the previous books. If you love the books before this one you need to get this one also.I also recomend the Lynsay Sands Vampire series.

Curvy vampire Glory St. Clair arrives home and smells trouble - Type B kind of trouble. When Glory realizes the human woman with her throat torn open is near death¿s door, she speed dials the man she begged to turn her into a vamp centuries ago ¿ Jeremy Blade, her on-again, off-again lover, friend, and in this crisis, her only hope of help. Having never made a vampire, Glory is reluctant to bestow eternal undead bliss upon the mortal, but she can¿t let her die. The woman she makes is Lucky Carver, a surgically enhanced loan shark enforcer and a loose cannon when it comes to vampire rules of discretion. Glory is feeling anything but lucky when she receives blackmail threats from an unknown fiend who made a video of her changing Ms. Carver. That is until she speaks to Lucky¿s grateful, mobster daddy who promises her a cool million if she finds his daughter¿s attacker. She needs the devil¿s own luck, however, as multiple suspects emerge among the live and the undead. Gerry Bartlett¿s third installment of her Real Vampire series is loaded with laughter, suspense, and some hot chemistry between the sassy Glory and her Highlander Hunk. Ms. Bartlett weaves the newest tale so well new readers to the series will never miss a beat. For those who have not read the 1st two books, I highly recommend taking a bite out of Real Vampires Have Curves and Real Vampires Live Large as well. All three are Fangtastic!

By the dumpster in the alley near her shop, Glory St. Clair hears someone gurgling their last breath. She and Valdez the canine protector rush outside to find a young female human dying from the loss of blood caused by a vampire mugging. Unable to resist though only recently being converted from pure blood type B human to vampire universal blood user vampire, Glory does her first turning.------------ However, Lucky turns out to be more than just lucky to be alive (loose definition). She is a flamboyant loan shark collector for the mob and has some strong family ties. While Glory tries to get Lucky to hide her exhibitionist tendencies and to stop breaking bones, vampire hunters converge on the instructor and her recalcitrant student while Lucky goes after Glory¿s pals who owe her boss money. Worse Lucky converted her former rock star boyfriend into a vampire to avenge his leaving her. Real vampires get unlucky when the real world intrudes as someone wants Glory dead.--------- In her third Real Vampire appearance, Glory learns that being an undead does not have as direct path to hell as good intentions. Nothing goes right from the moment she saves Lucky¿s life. Fans will appreciate this amusing lighthearted entry as the heroine wonders will she live long enough to survive her first conversion.----- Harriet Klausner
