Overview

NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR, ELLE CASEY, brings readers TROUBLE, the final installment in the New Adult Romance Series, REBEL WHEELS. With over 1,300 5-star ratings on Goodreads, readers love TROUBLE!

Alissa Benson used to have plans. Big ones. Important ones. But all those plans went down the drain on her twenty-first birthday, and now she's just trying to pick up the pieces and manage the fallout. Sure, there are people wanting to help. But they're pushy and suffocating and none of them can say more than ten words without cussing. And then of course there's Colin. As if life isn't complicated enough. He's the guy who couldn't stand to even look at her last week but now seems to keep popping up every time she turns around. She'd like to say she can't stand the sight of him, but that would be a lie. It doesn't matter, though. Life is too complicated for dreaming about guys like him. Alissa has a baby almost due, no job, no money, and there's nothing she hates more than being a burden. But when her past moves into her present, threatening to take away her very last shred of dignity, she's forced to reconsider everything she ever thought she knew about the world and herself.

About this series: Normally this is the spot where I write what inspired the story or the series you see above, and usually it's a tale about a person I knew or heard about, or a dream I had ... but this time, nope. Not at all. This entire series was inspired by the cover model on Rebel, Book 1 in the Rebel Wheels series. I saw his photos on a website, and a little voice inside my head said, "Ooo la laaaa," and the story just came to me from there. I know. Man candy. What can I say? I'm addicted.

5 BIG STARS!!! This series ROCKS! It is really hard for me to choose which book in this series is my favorite because they are all so great! I read this book in one setting. I love Elle’s writing style and flow of the story. Colin is an awesome book boyfriend. He is mysterious and a bad boy! Who doesn’t love a bad boy? But this bad boy wants to be loved and has so much love to give. In walks Addison a pregnant girl that has been tossed aside. The love takes a while to bloom but when it does look out! This book has so many emotions love, heartbreak but most of all Elle can deliver some laugh-out-loud hysterical dialogue. It is a nice change of pace for a romance novel. Its gooshy and funny! I love the bad food. (you will understand when you read the book) This book can be read as a stand-alone and has a HEA. We get to see the other characters Rebel and Hellion and the series is tied up in a neat little bow. But read the other two books to get the whole Sha-Bam. I have read several Elle Casey books and have loved every one of them! She is one of my favorite Author’s and I can’t wait for more books! I will recommend this book, as well as all of Elle’s books. Quotes: “What is that?” he asks, leaning over touching the top of my pants. I have maternity jeans on and the cotton panel in front is covering my bulging belly. I slap his hand away. “My pants dummy. Don’t touch.” He laughs once. “Those are some high pants, Melvin.” – Colin “Every day when I wake up, I try to come up with ways to see you. I think about you and the baby every second of the day. I dream about you guys at night.” – Colin “Listen… if you’ll let me, I’ll spend the next hour or so helping you forget the past and making you fell like a million bucks. I hope like hell that when I do that, you’ll moan and shout and growl and scream and anything else that feels right. That’s what happens when people make love, okay? They make noise. And it’s not the same as what happened to you before. It’s pleasure, not pain.” – Colin

Trouble is the third and final book in the Rebel series and is my favorite.  It was a hard choice but there's just something about Alissa and especially Collin who really won me over in the first book: Rebel, when he helped save Teagan.   I've been looking forward to seeing more of Collin and finding out what makes him tick and I was not disappointed.  Elle Casey knows how to tell a great story and it's like she's a wish granting fairy when it comes to this series.  After reading Rebel I wrote in my review that I really hoped that Quinn would get with one of Rebel's brothers.  In fact here were my exact words:   Actually I’m hoping maybe she’ll fall for one of Rebels brothers and vice versa, then they could be one giant happy family.  And what happened?  My wish was granted!  Both of them!  Quinn got with Mick aka Hellion and they all became one big happy family in the end.  Then in my review for Hellion I said: I really hope she (Alissa) plays a huge role in Trouble. (hint, hint)  And what happens?  She plays a huge role in Trouble.  The book is from her perspective.  I don't want to skip right to the end but EVERYTHING I wanted from this series happened, maybe not in the exact ways I imagined them but that's awesome too.   I love surprises but every single wish I had for the characters were granted.  Honestly, the fairy godmother has nothing on Elle Casey :) Just an excellent book and the prefect conclusion to the Rebel series.  If you haven't read Rebel and Hellion yet then do so.  The dialogue is always fun and each character has their own sense of humor, especially Teagan.  Her stories always read way too fast but that has absolutely nothing to do with the page count and everything to do with the excellent pacing and storytelling of the author.  In fact Trouble was a bit longer than the previous books by at least 40 pages.  It's just so good that it's over with before you know it.  Time flies when you're having fun and I had so much fun reading this book.  I give it five stars but I truly think that all of the book sites need one extra rating above the fifth star that says "Awesome like Elle Casey!"  I can't say enough good things about this book and the Rebel series in general and cannot wait to see what she has in store for us next :)

Good end to the trilogy, though it took me quite a bit to warm up to Alissa, the female character. For half of the book she was this petulant, ungrateful witch. She just got on my nerves. Things got better after that and I got to enjoy her relationship with Colin. Everything gets resolved in this book so there is no cliffhanger.

I loved this series. Literally couldn't put it down. Easy read. Great story line. The only thing that kind of bothered me was... these girls had these super amazing men practically throwing themselves at their feet but their playing hard to get was almost too much. I have never written a review and i am not even sure i make sense but i just felt like the harder they tried the more they were pushed away. That being said... i loved all 3 books and have recommemed them to my friends

I will be reading EVERTHING from Elle Casey after finishing this series, absolutely brilliant! I love how each story blends together, i love their friendships, their banter, and honesty! Colin is the perfect man to a T! And watching his life change was awe inspiring such vulnerability with strength, passion, and he never gave up he kept pushing without being pushy! Epic loved this series and have been introducing friends and family to them as well. I would obviously love to hear more from the group, like another story maybe 5 yrs or 10yrs down the road maybe even pov's from the guys?

Just brilliant

I liked trouble a lot. Alisa is a much better heroine. I find Teagan (mostly) and Quinn to be obnoxious. Colin is also the most interesting male. Good story but you have to read 2 other books to get here.
