Oh how I loved this book, I was given a free ARC for an honest review! First time reading from the author Shanna Clayton, and I fell in love with the characters, I just wanted for Charlotte to have more control of her self, but I know how we women act, we over analyze things too much, and sometimes, it just directs us to something we don't want.   Charlotte is so hurt because of her boyfriend Miles, she wants to escape, not sure where to go, she leaves Gainesville towards Miami, to see if a stranger she only met once, would help her.  Then there's Max Archer, now about couple of years back, he was saved by Charlotte, he was stabbed and she scarred the robbers away with her gun.  She went to the hospital, and once he recovered, she went on her way, during spring break. Basically Max owed her his life, he thought she was gorgeous, but for a messed up guy like him, its glad he didn't ask any information more from her.  Well this stranger Charlotte goes and visit is Max.  She figure that maybe he can owe her a favor by staying a couple of weeks until she gets a job and enough money to find a place in Miami, but she was so distraught, and tired, Max listened to her and with conditions, he let her stay. But those conditions were going to be very tough.  Can they get a long, Max had his life stolen from him as a young man, in search of the person that took his family, and Charlotte is trying to gather herself, from a broken relationship, that she's known all her life, with her family and friends looking for her, they both need help.  Can they help each other out?   Well, you have to read this book, it keeps you wanting to know what happened to Max, and will Max let Charlotte get close to him?   The characters are well liked, not predictive, kept me wanting to read and not put this book down, buy the book.   *copy gifted for honest review  **originally reviewed for WeLoveKink(dot)com
