Anna J. Stewart never fails to write a story you can't put down. Abby enters a cooking competition in the hopes of saving her inn. The biggest problem? She's a mess in the kitchen. Enter Jason, celebrity chef. Abby gets Jason to give her cooking lessons, But that's not the only thing heating up. The chemistry between them is great, and this story was truly enjoyable.

A really great read, even as far-fetched as it is. Abby is a diaster in the kitchen, a real menace so what better idea to save the inn then going a cooking contest. Abby's exploits in the kitchen are hilarious and really make this story enjoyable. Jason, a disgraced professional chef, adds balance to Abby's spontaneity, Ying/yang type play. He balances the book and helps the pages keep turning. The plot us quirky, different and a bit of a stretch, but it keeps you waiting for the next diaster . overall really enjoyed this read.

A fun, sweet heartwarming story that you will not be able to put down. Neither Jason or Abby are looking for a relationship but things happen when you least expect them. Both are dealing with family issues, that they are in need of help. Jason, a celebrity chef has arrived to Butterfly Inn for down time when he finds Abby, the innkeeper in a heap of trouble in the kitchen. She needs to come in first place in a cooking contest to save the inn. With a few lessons from Jason can she win the cooking contest. A fun summer read, that will have you drooling for Jason and the wonderful cooking creations.

Wow! I'm trying to wrap my head around this story while writing this. It's that good. I'm in love with this book. One in my must reread list. The thrill and the charm of this book left me breathless after reading this. I've read the first book in the series, the Bad Boy of Butterfly Harbor and this second book is even better than the first one. Well it's probably due to the hero. I've always loved a story centered in food especially chef. There is just something unique and charming about cooking together. The author did a great job with the personality of the character. At first I was really annoyed with Jason Corwin, he was truly a jerk to Abby, but I understood his past. Abby is one of kind girl. Her motivation and compassionate nature made it easy to fall in love with her. I laughed at some of her action. My favorite part is probably when they both ventured to a quiet and beautiful place. (Read to find out) The people in town amazed me too. No one really judged Jason and it astounds me that people are so kind. They gave him a chance to prove his worth and that's a good life lesson. The charm of the small town with the butterfly mascot is making the story totally heartwarming. I laughed and almost cried while reading the book. Amazing book Anna! Truly recommended and a must read! Rating: perfect 5 stars! I received an ARC of this book in exchange of an honest review.

Note: I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review. Abby Manning is the manager for the Flutterby Inn in Butterfly Harbor. When she learns that the Inn is in deep financial distress, she decides to take matters in her own hands by entering into a cooking competition. Unfortunately, her nickname is Five Alarm Manning and it's well earned. Fortunately, however, a handsome chef has just checked in. If he agrees to help her, she might just have a chance at winning and saving the Flutterby. Jason Corwin is beat down and running scared. He feels like he's lost everything that mattered to him. However, when he checks into the hotel, he's greeted by smoke and the fire alarm going off in the kitchen. He'd never planned to enter a kitchen again, yet the pretty young lady hitting the fire alarm to get it to stop might just change his mind. I don't want to say more and give away too much of the plot. Part of what I enjoy with these ARC reviews is the fact that I frequently know nothing about the story I'm about to read. I just trust the author to write something I'll enjoy. And, in this case, the author did not disappoint. This is a fun read. It's got humor, a bad guy, great friends, and just enough intrigue to keep the pages turning. I enjoyed reading about Abby's adventure in the culinary world. It was also nice to read the tried and true plot line where the bad guy gets taken down and the good guys win. I also loved the continued backstory of the other characters. I must admit though that I expected more to come from Simon, but I guess the author had other ideas. Like the author's other book in this series, it also has lessons that we can all learn. Themes covered are - grief, honesty, cheating, and trust in your friends / loved ones. You don't have to always fly solo. There was also the lesson of owning up to your mistakes and admitting when you've been wrong. Romance - PG - kisses only Language - PG / clean My rating - 5 stars

Abby Manning is a disaster in the kitchen, so she definitely needs help when she decides to enter an amateur cooking contest to save the Flutterby Inn. Lucky for her, Jason Corwin, a professional chef, is staying at the Flutterby Inn while he is trying to keep out of the media spotlight following a scandal back home. Abby convinces Jason to help her learn to cook and their arrangement leads to some humorous moments. I enjoyed catching up with the residents of Butterfly Harbor as they showed their support for Abby in the cooking competition. Recipe for redemption is a heartwarming story. Anna J. Stewart is one of my favorite authors and I absolutely love the Butterfly Harbor series! **I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.**

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I sent the author a message as soon as I finished reading this book because I couldn’t wait to tell her that I think this is the best book she has written to date – and that is saying something because I LOVE all her books. Not only is it a well-written book, it is such a heartwarming, really terrific read. This book has just what I like in a great read: love, laughter, bits of intrigue, a smarmy bad guy, quick wit and snark. LOVE snark! The first words in Chapter One will grab your attention and make you laugh – at least it did for me – and never let you go. This is a story about Jason Corwin and Abby Manning and sometimes their road will make you sniffle. I won’t give away any spoilers but I highly recommend this book. If you are not a fan already, you will become one of Anna J. Stewart’s.

I loved this book! It's the second book in the series but it can stand alone. Anna writes characters and storylines that pull you in from the beginning! My favorite kind of books are ones that not only entertain me but teach me something new also! This book did that for me! I haven't been "swept up in the craze" of all the cooking shows on TV so I was amazed at all that went into not only putting together a show like that but, the "cut throat" atmosphere that permeates the industry! It makes sense though. Abby lives in Butterfly Harbor and wants things to remain the same as she is running the inn that has been in her family for awhile. However, things are going downhill fast and she's struggling. She wants her grandma to continue to live at the inn but finances are tight and she doesn't know how she going to be able to hold on to the inn. PLUS, Abby can't cook worth a darn and the guests have to have wonderful meals! What's a girl to do?? Enter Jason Corwin! He's a famous chef but went through a family tragedy and wont cook anymore! He's just a guest at the inn, trying to get his life back together. He and Abby hit it off and he finds himself sucked back into the world of cooking! He's going to do the impossible - teach Abby to cook and enter a contest!!! I loved all the drama and intensity of the contest. Anna really captured the essence of the "cooking world". It was a wonderful read and I would highly recommend it! It has fantastic characters and a great setting.
