Recipe Records is not only an awesome guide for some truly delicious's dishes and fun facts truly deserve the rock-star treatment! From "Bohemian Rhapsodini" to "Cage The Elephant Ears" (my personal favorite) the entire work itself pays homage to the greats and newcomers of rock and roll. A true must have for any chef who's looking to rock their mouth like a hurricane.

I recently checked out this book and I've already made several of the recipes. Jackson's Brownies were SOOOOO excellent! These ladies have developed such a clever "recipe" for recipes! The song lists are great and the stories are hilarious. It reminds me of my concert-going days! And it just brings back a lot of old memories. There are songs in here that I had long forgotten! I hope they write a sequel.

I bought this book in Chicago while at the Billy Goat Tavern. I had the chance to visit with Magie and her mom and had so much fun. I loved the Burnin' for Blue yester Crackers samples! Delicious! I wish I could have met Lanea, but I am glad to have her book! It is cool and fun and I say, you have one on your bookshelf! Much love, Recipe girls, from Valencie Richie

My parents named me Louie after the famous song, "Louie Louie" and with a last name like "Presley," well, you can only imagine I love music. My mother is also Italian, so I was raised on wonderful food! I was at a friends house and she made the best meal, but the coolest thing was the music she was playing while I hung out in the kitchen with her and while we dined. I commented on how great ALL of it was and she explained that her inspiration was a great new book she received as a wedding shower gift. It was a book called Recipe Records! I browsed through it and almost fell off my chair in laughter with the tounge in cheek recipe titles, the stories, and I LOVED the suggested song lists. I wanna hang out with the chicks who wrote this book! They seem like fun and I highly reccommend this book!
