With over 20 years experience, she has created ways to help these children succeed in academics and social goals while teaching parents how to navigate the educational system. She holds an MFA degree from Rutgers University, has studied education at Hunter College and NYU, and has worked as a child advocate. She is known for her witty articles on children's and special needs issues in online and print publications.

The book "Recovering Autism , ADHD and Special Needs" is a must read for any parent, educator and even students in this field.  It provides effective tools and options that helps heal these children right before your eyes.  The author Shelley Tzorfas handles this topic with such mastery but  at the same time makes it practical and easy reading  for any one to follow. I would  recommend this book to anybody who wishes to see results and change now in these children.
