Sid Waterman, B. Ed., M. Div. Is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist and a graduate of the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. In 1970, he received a Master of Divinity Degree from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

For over 30 years, he pastored churches in Western Canada. From 1970 - 1973, Mr. Phillip Keller, bestselling author of "A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23", was pastoral assistant to Mr. Waterman. Mr. Keller's deep spiritual convictions had a profound influence on Mr. Waterman and is reflected in many of the spiritual insights found in this booklet.

Since 1994, Sid has been a Certified Grief Recovery Counselor in Penticton, B.C., Canada. For a number of years, he wanted to write a booklet on grief recovery, combining some of the best teaching available today on Grief Recovery with solid, biblical teaching on the work of the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, to bring healing, hope and inner peace to those who have suffered a deep loss.
