Redeem This is another great suspense-filled, action packed book by Cami Checketts. I enjoyed these characters and the plot was fast paced. I would give this book 5 stars.

For me, the main thing that kept me reading this book was mild interest. I had read the first book in the series, so I did want to know how it would all wrap up. Still, as in the first book, some things just didn't sit well with me.  For me, it felt like the endless flirting scenes were just too redundant. I wanted more depth to the story. I wanted to know more about the bad guys' schemes and plans. I wanted more details on how the good guys were doing their work, so I could be in their heads. I wanted more suspense! Along with these things, it was difficult to understand how everyone was just falling in love with the highly skilled hit man, who had initiated some of these relationships by terrorizing people. It reminded me of those "real life" women who find a man in prison, to start a relationship with and to eventually marry. Nothing I could relate to. I also found the jealousies between some of the characters to basically just be plain silly. It did not ring of love, to me. Still, the main setting for the story was a place I'd love to be. I enjoyed the descriptive passages that brought me there. Disclosure: I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

This book is the second book in the 'series'. I read the first book right before reading this one and I can say that you do not absolutely HAVE to read the first book to understand the second one. Alex the assassin is main character again and Ivy is back as well. I liked this book more than the first one, but it still wasn't good enough for 5 stars. My biggest problem with this book was the way that the characters just did not act right. It's a story filled with action, but at the same time it's a big romance book.  A positive thing was that I read it in 2 hours. The book is really fast paced and not boring at all.

Redeem This is a well written book with few grammatical/spelling errors. I could not wait to read this after finishing Blog This. I loved it. It was better than Blog This and I am looking forward to more in this series. If you like romance, suspense, or mysteries you will not be disappointed with this book. I received a copy of this book for an honest review. J.Matthews

This series is called the Tenderness and Terror series and that is exactly what it is! One minute you will be on the edge of your seat in terror biting your nails anxious to see what happens... The next minute you will be engaged in a most romantic setting where your heart will melt with tenderness towards the characters. ------------------------------------------------------- Alex LOVES his sister and will do anything for her...even kill for her...And that is exactly what he has done. Trying to redeem himself from his past he joins forces with the FBI. His current assignment has him protecting a beautiful woman, Brittany, and her darling daughter, Savannah, against the powerful mayor Steven Sherman, who is doing things a mayor shouldn't be doing. Brittany witnessed something she shouldn't and is now on the run. People tell her she shouldn't trust Alex because of his past, but she sees so much good in him and doesn't feel threatened like she does with her own ex-husband. Detective Scott Bentley just wants to live peacefully on his ranch and has put law enforcement behind him...but now he has been asked to house and protect Brittany with the help of Alex. Scott is also sent another helper by the name of Ivy who is one of the best computer hackers there are. As Scott and Ivy work together they start to have feelings for each other... Only problem is...Ivy is in protective custody and when the situation is all cleared up...she will again disappear. A little girl and 4 other lives all entangled together to prove that "it might take more than a hit man and a hacker to save the day..." Could love possibly "Redeem This?" What a GREAT story! Romantic Suspense at it's FINEST! LOVED. LOVED. LOVED. IT!

I just finished Blog This and was completely torn--Alex is a bad guy, yet he's got a streak of good in him. I seriously gasped out loud when I started this book and realized that Alex was a main character. Would I love him or hate him? In fact, there were a few characters that I really grew to love in the previous novel who had major roles in this story. Alex does what he does for a very good reason and feels that he's beyond hope. I enjoyed getting some more insight into his story and learning who he really is. I loved the message--is anyone truly hopeless? Can people change? There were two stories found within this book and they crisscross all over the place. Alex now works for the FBI and is hired to befriend a dangerous man, but Brittany catches his eye and complicates his job. What a sweet, forgiving woman she is! There's also a parallel story of Scott and Ivy, teaming up to help Alex with his mission. They both have difficult pasts to overcome. I love the independence and strength they both have, yet they show their vulnerabilities. I really don't want to give things away, but I loved the characters and the way things played out in very romantic, yet extremely suspenseful ways. I love the way this author weaves a tale and shows some good, clean romantic moments! Content: Clean romance (kissing); no language; mild religious elements (talk of redemption, Christian values and love); moderate violence (not graphic, but human trafficking, murder, shootings, abuse) *I received a copy in exchange for an honest review*

This book was so good I couldn't put it down. It was fun to see so many characters from the first book. I suggest you read that one first....by the end of the first book you start to like Alex. Yet you want to hate him for all he has done. This book is really his redemption. You fall in love with all the characters even Alex. It is fast paced excitement the whole way through and such a great story! I was glad to see both Scott and Alex get the chance for love that they didn't get in the first one. Cami is one of my favorite Authors and once again she writes a really great book! Note: I was given an advanced copy of this book by the Author in exchange for an honest review!
