Life is not about me, but all about Him.
Do you have trouble remembering this throughout your day? Do you see Jesus in your everyday activities, or do you just call on Him in an emergency?
God wants to be part of your life twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. This ten-week women's Bible study encourages you to see His life lessons throughout your day. A detailed look at a potter and his wheel gives you new insights to the creation of man. Physical workouts can be compared to your spiritual growth and prayer life. Open your eyes to see how God uses daily mundane experiences to teach you spiritual truths.
The more you ask the Holy Spirit to reveal comparisons like these, the easier it is to recognize God's hand on your life. This study is designed to motivate and inspire you to make Jesus a part of everything you do. Before you know it you will be Reflecting Him in ways you never dreamed possible.

Carla McDougal, in her book Reflecting Him, has done a thorough discussion of our everyday activities in light of God's involvement 24/7 every day of the year. It's a ten-week study that shows you how God wants to be incorporated into the daily routines of your life. The secret is that you must allow Him access to your life. Her study includes the following subjects, with five specific days to elaborate even further on what they mean for your life: Reflections in Life: Images in the Mirror Created for and by God: Like Clay in the Hands of the Potter Senses of the Soul: The Touch, Aroma, Taste, Sight, and Sound of Jesus The Power Source: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit Prayer from the Inside Out: The Holy Spirit Initiates Prayer Prayer Fuels Faith: Prayer Energizes Faith into Action The Control Syndrome: Consequences of Running Ahead Roadblocks Ahead: Caution-Diversions Along the Way Fit for Jesus: Get up! Get Out! Get Going! So.Reflect Him: Love God, Live for Jesus, Breath in the Holy Spirit Each of the five days has an introduction with personal stories to enhance the study. It's followed by Scripture Excavation (dig deeper into the Word), Hidden Treasures (application), Celebrating Treasured Gifts (personal prayer), and a Reflection Pause. The study is informative as well as applicable. I really enjoyed Carla's personal stories, as they enhanced what she discussed. The pictures used tell you a story as well. Very applicable to the discussion. Each lesson leads into the next one, making for a wonderful study. Very cohesive and relevant. It's best used as a group study, but can be used for personal use as well. This study book was provided by Kathy Carlton Willis Communications in exchange for my honest opinion.
