Beautiful pictures with regional people..... great illustrations..... has some usual recipes and unusual ones too. Worth buying just for reading also.

Purchased the book because it contained recipes for Abruzze region. Should have looked on Food Network. Perhaps the text might be helpful to someone other than a descendent of Italian American parents who cooked Italian everyday. The illustrations are beautifully presented and the mini history of each region fscinating.
