OMG, J.S. Scott really outdid herself with this one. A story about a rich man who had it all and a poor woman who had nothing. Trace Walker was thrust into a life he was not ready for by circumstances he never expected and Eva was born to a loving father but a heartless, cruel and evil mother. Two very different people from very different backgrounds who met each other for two very different reasons. There were quite a few times in this book that I said to myself, wow I never saw that coming, it was definitely a page turner. The characters in this book were so very well written that I could feel their pain, their loss, their happiness and their passion. Eva is a survivor who has been dealt a crap hand in life and although Trace was born rich, he is far from happy. "Life is hard, no matter how much money you have. The problems are just different." That is about all I can say without giving away too much. I will say that I loved Dane & Sebastian, Trace's brothers, and cannot wait to read their stories. As far as the skank named Britney, I hope that we have seen the last of her. Do yourself a favor and read this book, I think you will enjoy it, I know I did and I am ready for more of the Walker Brothers. Five very well deserved stars for this one!!

Trace and Eva Story was wonderful.... It was pack with some many strong holds.. Honestly by the main characters , Understanding from their personal point of view, the working towards a better relationship. This was so many strong positive aspects to this introduction of the Walker Family I'm speechless , and don't quite know where to start... The emotions push through so much in the dialogue I cried, and laughed along with the characters.. I meet the future possibilities by the author and I'm so looking to more of the Walker Family . So sweet a read !!!

At first I assumed it would end up to fast plot driven, but by the 3rd chapter I was hooked, and it gave me everything I needed. Excellent read.

This was a good book. It was a bit predictable though. And the ending was a bit rushed. I loved the characters and the chemistry between them. Overall it was a good read. But I gave it 3 stars because it was not original and it was too rushed. I would recommend this book. Gtx

I loved this book. I couldn't put it down. I had to buy the other 2 books I loved it that much. I only wished that Trace would have told Britany to her face in front of Eva that he would never have anything to do with her again. I really would have loved that.

I was not expecting this book by JS Scott and I loved it. The whole story was outstanding. I finished it quickly and at that time I was even in a book funk. I've even considered reading it again pretty soon. Now I'm read for the next book in this series.
