The story begins right where we left off in book one, and this stoey does not disappoint. Allie and Hudson have obstacles to overcome and they do so. The sex again is off the charts but now.its filled with an emorional toll of uncondirional love. Rhen of course all hell has to break lose, if you can imagine trouble, distress and anorher cliffhanger well you"ve got it in book.2 of the series. Im hooked. I loved it, i adore Allie and Hudson, im rooting for a happily ever after. I will have to read book 3 to find out how this cliffhanger plays out. Bravo to the aurhors for bringing these wonderful lovimg and perfectly flawed characters to life. Hudson is pure sex. Hot as heck! Allie is sensual and naiive but in such a strong feminine way. She holds the power and Hudson"s heaet. How i worry and wonder who would lose more in the end of this book, hudson or Allie... so so good, onto book 3!

4.5 Stars! I don't give my affection very easily so I'm quite surprised at how invested I have become in Hudson and Alessandra. I know I loved REMIND ME, but RELEASE ME completely blindsided me and I felt my heart go splat as I fell in love all over again! In RELEASE ME, Allie steps up to take control of her life. Things have changed for her both personally and professionally and she while she has to work with the man destroyed both her heart and her trust, Allie is not willing to listen to his explanations or forgive him for his betrayal. Well, Hudson is down but not out. He knows that he messed up and misses Allie a lot but he's not willing to lose her a second time and will do everything to get her back - beg, grovel, even walk away for a time - if it would get her to forgive him. This is Hudson Chase, the man. Completely stripped of all artifice, totally open, totally honest, totally in love. I swear my heart broke when he walked away from Allie, even though I knew it wasn't over for them. Thank God for BFFs and some tough love to break down Allie's defenses. This is also Allie, the woman, no longer bound by her duty to her family, free to make her own choices and live her life on her own terms. She loves, she hurts, she forgives. I really enjoyed seeing Allie come into her own as a professional and even in her relationship with Hudson. What they share is so intense and real, their connection even deeper and they literally can't keep their hands off each other, hot and heavy everywhere! I loved seeing them do all the couple things, the romance, the passion, the sex and even the time shared with their loved ones, but I totally loved how they love each other. Every touch, every word, every look is proof and I cold not get enough. But while they are basking in their love, the clouds are gathering. Danger is around the corner and unresolved issues have to be addressed. Once again, this book ends in a cliffhanger, this one so abrupt that I did not see it coming. I can't wait for October to read the final installment of this trilogy. RELEASE ME is pure emotion - heartbreak, forgiveness and consuming passion and I dare any reader to resist the emotional roller coaster ride. This is definitely one of the best series that I have read in a long time. I mean the name Hudson Chase just screams sex, sex, sex! His sex appeal is out of this world and both Walker and Rogers do a fantastic job of writing the most hot and steamy sex scenes that I have read in a long time. I absolutely loved Hudson and Alessandra as they were two characters whose chemistry sizzles on and off the pages of the book and leaves you wanting more. I started this series on a Tuesday morning about 4:00am when I couldn't sleep and finished the first two novels by 5:00pm same day - sooo good! Words cannot express the sensuality of this series and both Walker and Rogers should be extremely proud of the great novels that they have written. I cannot express how good this series is - it is up there with all the great Billionaire Romance novels with that dash of Fifty Shades - but better! I would definitely recommend this series to those who love a great read - that includes hot sex scenes, romance and a bit of a mystery .... Walker and Rogers have definitely made a fan out of this girl and I CANNOT wait to read the next book in the series! This is a definite MUST add to your T0-Be-Read Shelf!

2nd in the series... Now this book I loved. This one was full of romance .. travel.. love This one kept me captivated from the first page I was hooked. I was always anxious to turn the page.. read the next chapter. So much going on. This one was really good. Loved the travel... I pictured it all ;) So nice to leave in your mind. The love story between them.. so very intriguing! Described beautifully. Making you want a romance like that. Making you wish you had someone like that. The ending was... (waiting till October) I'm going to die till then... ;( Hanging by a thread.... sighs

To say I was eager to read this book might be an understatement. The first book in this series ended in a very surprising manner and so I was impatient to see what happened to Allie and Hudson. This book did not disappoint. It was both hot and surprising. I'm learning I shouldn't make theories about what's going to happen next because I'm going to get it wrong. Allie and Hudson are dealing with a lot of change. Their personal and professional lives are going through lots of upheaval. My heart broke for Allie. She's lost so much in a small amount of time. I admired her for her resolve and strength. Even going through half of what she did would leave me a mess curled up in my bed. I like how she took charge of what was going on around her. I also felt bad for Hudson. He was trying hard to what Allie asked of him, even if it broke his own heart. I was also concerned with how he was handling his recollections of the past. It really made me wonder what had happened to him. I liked seeing Allie with her friend Harper and Hudson with Nick his brother. I really liked seeing the latter; it was as if they were bonding again, and part of that was due to Allie. I really liked the range of emotions this book made me feel. There were moments of sadness, happiness, fear, and even anger. I'm liking how the story keeps my interest from the first page to the last. It did seem like all the major action happened in those parts though. I'm really concerned about Hudson and Allie. I'm once again intrigued about the direction the story has taken. Ann Marie Walker and Amy K. Rogers have done a great job at moving Hudson and Allie's story forward. They've made great progress as a couple from the start of Remind Me to the end of Release Me. I'm can't wait to see how they grow as a couple in Reclaim Me. I'm hoping things will get easier for them, but I have a feeling they will have to struggle some more before that happens.

Release Me by Ann Marie Walker and Amy K. Rogers is one scorcher of a read. It is the second book from their Chasing Fire trilogy and I believe best enjoyed after reading Remind Me, the first book in the series. But beware, both books end with a marvelous cliffhanger and the final book's release is not until October 2015. This is the love story between Allie Sinclair and Hudson Chase. Two people from opposite sides of the tracks. Allie comes from tremendous wealth, yet remains down-to-earth and personable. Hudson is a self-made billionaire, who had to struggle for everything and anything in order to become the successful businessman he is today. They are thrown together and pulled apart during various stages in their lives, yet have never stopped caring about each other. Their attraction is undeniable and their need for each other is heart-wrenching at times. I really liked this book and the way the authors evolved Allie and Hudson both personally and professionally. Unfortunately, the moment Allie agreed to meet Julian, her conniving, evil and violent ex-fiance, I became disenchanted. Throughout the story, Allie is depicted as a smart and resourceful woman, and I felt that this action contradicted the authenticity of her character. Luckily this circumstance occurred at the end of the book, so I was able to enjoy most of it. Before I read the third book, I plan to reread books one and two in order to get back into the Allie and Hudson groove. Overall, this is a hot and fast-paced well-written love story, with a suspenseful twist at the end. Complimentary copy provided by the publisher via NetGalley.

I am pretty much gushing about this series to anyone who will listen! I've emailed, texted, Facebooked, Tweeted and raved to anyone who seems even remotely interested. The Chasing Fire Series is absolutely FANTASTIC! Release Me sort-of starts where Remind Me left off, but with a twist! Allie had plans to regain control of her life at the end of Book #1, but those plans are quickly blown apart in a terrible discovery that rocks her world. With this shocking turn of events, Allie finds herself face to face with Hudson once again. And, though she tries desperately to stay away, the overwhelming pull to him is just too much. Allie continues to struggle in this book, but you can understand her stress and frustrations with all she has been/is going through. There are portions of the book where Allie shows fantastic flashes of resilience and gritty determination. I think she's going to need these in the final book. (Plus, resilience is one of my favorite traits for a heroine!) Hudson is just as swoony as ever!

So, I am such a dork. I didn’t realize when I requested this book that it was book 2 in a series. I have to admit, I was a little worried once I realized that I was jumping straight into book 2. But as I started reading, I realized I was worried for nothing. I didn’t really have trouble following along at all. And to me, that was a good thing! Release Me is sexy and intriguing with a little bit of mystery and danger sprinkled in along the way. I loved the connection between Hudson and Allie. Hudson hurt and betrayed Allie, but you could tell that he loved her and would do anything to win her back. Hudson…. All I can say is wow! He was a total alpha male. He knew what he wanted and wasn’t afraid to go after it. I loved seeing Allie and Hudson together, they just burned up the pages. Release Me is my first book by this author, but definitely won’t be my last. I loved everything about this story, from start to finish. I definitely will be going back and read the first book, just so I can get a little more history on the characters. Release Me was a quick and enjoyable read. I couldn’t get enough of the characters. The story does end with a cliffhanger ending and I can’t wait to see how everything will play out. *I was provided an ARC copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*

Wow! This was intense, emotional, and unbelievably hot! Loved it! This book starts where Remind Me leaves off and I love the tension and animosity between Allie and Hudson. They are such great characters. You can feel the pull they have towards one another and I really got caught up in it. I loved the build of them coming together and moving forward, it was so fantastic! Wanting something but having to forgive, it just made for this full story that was detailed and descriptive. I was completely pulled in. There's a lot going on throughout and I had a million questions. There is an underlying element of mystery that had me wanting more and I absorbed all the details I got. It was intense! Allie had so much to deal with during her and Hudson's reconnection. It was so sad and yet I loved her strength throughout. I pretty much inhaled all the details learned about Hudson's past. Loved all those dark details that were emerging. I couldn't not get enough! Hudson is a fascinating man. I still have a ton of questions about her parents, Hudson's brother Nick, and Julian. Which leads me too HOLY CLIFFHANGER BATMAN! I'm dying. Need the third book now. This story took the schmexy to a whole new level. Seriously, it was unbelievable hot! I love the connection they have, it's like an insatiable need, with love and lust combined which makes them coming together off the charts hot. Besides the hot, there were also these sweet, playful moments that make Hudson and Allie so relatable and real… let's just say Mr. Chase could help me decorate cookies anytime. ;-) Such a great story. Loved the build throughout. From Hudson and Allie coming together and all the underlying questions that emerged to really seeing the beautiful and passionate connection they share. About the time I thought I was ready for more drama and development, bam! It happened! The ending totally had me on the edge of my seat and I was left with my heart racing. Awesome read which I thoroughly enjoyed. Couldn't put it down! That ending though, wow. I need answers! Complimentary copy received for honest review.
