About the Author

Shay Savage lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, with her family and a variety of household pets. She is an accomplished public speaker and holds the rank of Distinguished Toastmaster from Toastmasters International. When not writing, she enjoys spending her weekends off-roading in her bright yellow jeep, watching science fiction movies, masquerading as a zombie, and participating as a HUGE Star Wars fan and member of the 501st Legion of Stormtroopers. When the geek fun runs out, she also loves soccer in any and all forms - especially the Columbus Crew, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich. Savage holds a degree in psychology, and she brings a lot of that knowledge into the characters within her stories.

Liam was a great alpha! Different from the Storm series alpha but still very hot! Serious issues mixed with some offbeat humor and lots of strangeness - loved it. Can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

What a way to end a story. Liam is headed down a very dark path in this book. Old memories continue to haunt him and he copes with it the only way he knows how and in the process of coping he literally lost everything. Tria is lost as to how to help Liam and the only thing she can do is run. But love does conquer all. When they find there way back to each other it is a long rough journey to healing old and new wounds. When you finally learn about Liam's past it just guts you. Such a painful story to hear. You learn that parents are not perfect and you need to find forgiveness to truly move on in life. But family sticks by you through thick and thin. This is a story of heartbreak, fear, weakness, and loss. But it is also a story of love, forgiveness, and family. It is the story of second chances and it truly touched upon real life situations that people deal with every day. I absolutely loved this series and felt everything wrapped up beautiful in the end. Shay continues to amaze me

4.5 star I was pulled right into this story that is told all in Liam’s POV. The story flowed very well. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, drugs, suspense, grief, and heartbreak. If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Caged: Takedown Teague (Caged, #1) Trapped (Caged #2) This is more Tria and Liam’s story. Liam has hit rock bottom. He yelled and now he has lost Tria. He has no idea where she is and he is drowning his pain in drugs. When he finally figures out where she is will she want him? What Tria wants is to know all his secrets and finally let her in. When Liam agrees to tell her everything you can feel his pain and sorrow. He finally agrees to get help. As Liam and Tria work through there issues they lose a close friend. That is Liam’s breaking point and he finally starts talked to his family more. Can Liam and his family work out there issues? Will Liam and Tria be a good match for the long haul? Will Liam continue to fight even though Tria does not like him doing it? I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. It was weird at first that it was all in his POV as I have not read many books like that. By the 3rd book I was used to it only being his POV and it worked. These two had a lot to overcome to be together. There road was hard with many obstacles but in the end they are perfect for each other. I highly recommend this book and this series.
