Relentless (Fractured Farrells: A Damaged Billionaire Series, #5) by Mallory Crowe

Nathan has come to town for one reason: her.

And he's not leaving until she's his.

Nathan thought he'd be a happy bachelor forever, but things have changed. One by one his brothers have been falling prey to this whole "love" thing and Nathan has never come close to finding a woman who could tolerate him in large doses. Well, except for one. But this girl isn't a fling. She's long term, first class wife material. If he goes for her, it's not for a one night stand. It's for forever.

Katy Carey is busy. Too busy for love and much too busy for the assertive billionaire from her past who showed up out of nowhere and demanding they try to make things work. But as the Inn she manages starts to face one crisis after another, it becomes apparent that someone is trying to destroy the business she's devoted her life and future to.

Now the man she just wanted to leave her alone ends up being a friendly ear, an ally and, scariest of all, her only hope.

Great read! The story line provided many twists and turns that were not expected. The back and forth banter between the characters was enjoyable to read and keep coming back to finish reading .

## NOT GOOD. This book was terrible. Neither the hero nor the heroine were very likeable. They had absolutely no chemistry which is a deal breaker for me. This complete manslut decides he's still in love with the 16 year old girl he once knew briefly (they never dated). Say what? She's the one who got away? Again, huh? 16! And he goes after her like no time has passed. And of course she's still a virgin 8 years later. But he.doesn't really say much to her. Just "I came here for you". He never expresses any emotion or anything. There is nothing romantic about this book.

Wonderful book. Couldn't stop reading it. I really enjoy the plot and how Nathan watched as all of the rest of his family was finding love and he believed their was something wrong with him. I love the back and forth between the characters. I love how Nathan turned into being the not so bad boy. Can't wait to read another book by Mallory crow.

THE ONE HE NEVER FORGOT. 3.5 stars. Relentless is the fifth and final book in the Fractured Farrells series. This can be read as a standalone with a HEA. It is a quick read so it's perfect for an afternoon curled up somewhere comfy. There is some violence and hot steamy sex scenes so 18+. The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that all of that info here. This book had a twist on the typical billionaire romance storyline, which I liked. Each of the siblings are so different. It was good to see them all come together in this final book.

Nathan has watched all of his siblings find love, one by one, and he realizes that he has lost touch with his own emotions. His mind turns to the girl he walked away from years ago and suddenly he knows - he needs to find her and convince her to give them a chance. Katy's plans don't include getting involved with the man who broke her heart and she's trying to fight her feelings for him but when things begin going wrong at the inn she manages and hopes one day to own, Nathan is the one person she trusts to help. I love this series and this book is a great addition. Mallory Crowe is a fantastic writer. Her characters are larger than life, her books are dramatic and steamy romances which usually have some degree of mystery or suspense. I could not put this book down. I am a big fan and can't wait for the next one. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Nathan's HEA! I was happy to see Nathan have his turn at sharing his story! He tracks down a woman he knew years ago and hopes to get a second chance at happiness... along the way someone causes some trouble... can they figure out what is going on? A touch of intrigue and romance... a story I had to read straight through! It was great seeing all of the Farrells together... enjoyed how things come to a close, but pave way for another connected series! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Mallory Crowe does it again in the epic conclusion to the Fractured Farrells series. I couldn't put this book down! Nathan and Katy's happily-ever- after is a perfect example of true love conquering all and a love that never diminishes no matter how many years have passed. Nathan was such an adorable man in love as he realized his undeniable feelings for Katy. Seeing his brothers and sister all find love helped him realize what he was missing and Katy was the only one he wanted to love with his whole heart, a real change from the bad boy/play boy he was before. Katy, although harder to change from her straight and planned out life style, never stopped loving Nathan and it didn't take long for her to fall head over heels in love again. Add in some mystery and murder, and you have an incredible, page turning story! I absolutely loved this series, I loved this book, and I am so excited for Mallory Crowe's next book! I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy.

Relentless is the final book in the Fractured Farrells Series. Nathan is definitely a changed man in this story. He is still a cocky, confident, take-charge guy but he is sincere in his feelings for Katy. He will do anything to prove to her how serious he is about having her in his life. I didn't care for the way Katy was so bitchy to Nathan. They never had a relationship before, and even after he explained why he left, she still acted like a woman scorned. I felt she acted very immature. Thankfully, she matured as the book progressed. The story was entertaining and had enough twists and turns to keep me quickly turning pages. The ending was a surprise. I never suspected the villain to be who it turned out to be. I love the way the story leads into a spin-off series. I can't wait to read it. If you're looking for a well-written, engaging story read Relentless. I highly recommend reading the entire series. All the books are terrific.

4.25 stars-- RELENTLESS is the fifth and final installment in Mallory Crowe’s contemporary, adult FRACTURE FARRELLS: Damaged Billionaires romantic, suspense series focusing on the Farrell siblings. This is businessman Nathan Farrell, and Inn manager Katy Carey’s story line. RELENTLESS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. The FRACTURED FARRELLS series is a spin off from Mallory’s BILLIONAIRES IN THE CITY series. You do not have to have read the original series to understand or comprehend the premise of the new series. Told from dual third person perspectives (Nathan and Katy) RELENTLESS is a second chance, of sorts, between billionaire Nathan Farrell, and Seal Cove Inn manager Katy Carey. Years earlier, Katy had a wild crush on Nathan Farrell, her best friend’s boyfriend and the man who would break her sixteen year old heart. Fast forward to present day and Nathan Farrell feels he has been left behind. All of his siblings have found their happily ever after, and Nathan is caught in a perpetual circle of one night stands, or relationships of betrayal and pain. The one person who made him feel real; made him feel like he belonged is the young girl, now a woman, whose heart he destroyed years before. Enter Katy Carey, a small town Inn manager, and a woman facing threats from an unknown source. Nathan’s arrival at Seal Cove Inn comes with some unexpected troubles including a leaky roof, malicious damage and an expected murder. What ensues is the rekindling relationship between Nathan and Katy, and the search for a potential killer at the Seal Cove Inn. The relationship between Nathan and Katy is one of second chances. Nathan walked out of Katy’s life years before, and in the ensuing time Katy has never forgotten the heartbreak and pain of the man that she once loved. Nathan’s determination to get Katy back into his life finds our hero make decisions that could affect their future together. The $ex scenes are intimate without the over the top graphic, erotic imagery. All of the previous story line couples, and Farrell siblings play secondary and supporting roles including several employees of the Seal Cove Inn including front desk receptionists Sean and Sheila, as well as the Inn’s next door neighbor Levi Adams who may or may not be interested in Katy Carey. RELENTLESS is a story of second chances; a romantic suspense focusing on Nathan’s need to forgive himself for the sins of his past; and moving forward towards a happily ever after. The premise is intriguing and heartwarming; the characters are spirited and energetic; the romance is passionate and moving. RELENTLESS is an intimate look at one man’s seduction of the woman he has always loved, and one woman’s need to make it on her own. Mallory Crowe’s amazing FRACTURE FARRELL series is a delightful look at family, friendships and happily ever afters. I am looking forward to Mallory’s next spin off series- THE STOLEN HEARTS-and book one The Cocky Thief focusing on police officer Scott Hart-a character who was first introduced in the Fracture Farrells.

I am conflicted about this book. I have read the other Farrell Brother books, and info about Nathan cropped up in them. I didn't feel like I was provided enough detail about Nathan. Yes, I know he was a playboy, hard drinker, liked the clubs, a little wild, etc., but, I could have retrieved the same info from reading the previous books. I know Julie was hired to clean up his image. I understand that this was a second chance romance with Katy. But, I didn't understand her reaction to him and why it was so STRONG based on what I read about their previous relationship. Possibly I missed something. Even the mystery of who was trying to sabotage Katy's business didn't provide enough information. I felt like who are these people, why are they doing this? Had I not read the previous books, I would have felt really lost. As it stands, it has been a while since I read the other books, so it was a struggle for me. This one left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. I needed more from it. Compared to the others, it was just ok. I voluntarily read and reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy.

Relentless, by Mallory Crowe, is the fifth book in the Fracture Farrells series. This is Nathan story in which he realizes he's missing something from his life and traces it back to the girl he let go - the only girl he's ever loved. He's all in and he won't accept defeat. I loved reading this story and the mystery that happens, along with the reappearance of the Farrell family members in the previous book. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

This is a book about the youngest Farrell brother , Nathan "the wild one" in Mallory Crowe's Fractured Farrells series. Nathan and Katy had met years before, when she was 16 but Nathan had walked away because he didn't think he would be good for her (and he was probably right). However years later he decides that she is "The One" and that he is going to make her his! To this end, he moves into the Inn she manages and proceeds to get her attention. This was an engaging and sometimes humorous read, such as this passage: "Maybe it would be better if you cleared the list of things we can talk about." Katy seemed to think about it for a second. "Weather." I was surprised about the unprotected sex the characters had and that any consequences did not seem to occur to either of them (either before or after the event) which seemed out of character for both of them. However, this may have been addressed by the time this book is published. Whilst this is one in a series of books it can be read as a standalone. I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to give an honest review. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.
