Keylee Ryan hit out the park again. Remedy is also second chance romance. Dr. Carmichael is swoon worthy. He is trying to fix the mistake for leaving Collins 3 years ago. This was a story I just fell completely in love with.

Remedy by Kaylee Ryan was a fabulous read! As soon as I picked up this novel, I knew that I was in store for a treat! Brother's best friend is one of my all time favourite romance tropes, and this novel certainly fit that description to perfection. Grady and Collins have so much of a past and history, that is impossible for them to not have an overall connection amongst each other. Whats even better, is that the connection they share runs so much deeper than that of a purely physical level. They understand one another, and know each other on a deeper, more personal and emotional level, that will make readers everywhere fall head over heels in love with their story. I highly recommend this novel to everyone. Go and grab it for yourself today. 5/5 Stars!

I really enjoyed reading this. Remedy was my first book by author Kaylee Ryan and while I liked it a lot, I didn’t love it quite so much as others have. To be honest, although the story itself was above reproach, I did find parts of it repetitive. I was well past the 50% mark before I felt like we were getting somewhere with the relationship between these two. This a story of second chance and forgiveness, lost loves and the desire to make things right. Grady and Collins grew up next door to each other. Grady is Collin’s older brother’s best friend and she crushed on him all her teen years. Grady being four years older knew how she felt, but never reciprocate those feelings until after Collins first year away at college. So, when he finally sees her as a woman rather than a cute friend, he’s overwhelmed and even more so when they hookup. But then he makes THE mistake. Three years pass before he comes home determined to fix everything he did wrong. He’s never stopped thinking about Collins or the life he wants to share with her. Collins was devastated when Grady just up and left and now that he’s back home, he thinks he can just pick up where they left off??? Grady’s got a fight on his hands to prove his worth to Collins and lets not forget about Caleb, Collins’s older brother. Will he go HULK on his best friend for breaking the ‘bro code’? Grab your copy and find out.

Remedy is a second chance romance, unlike any other I've read. I mean, I really didn't want to like Grady. The choices he made not only made him miserable, but also Collins. Their story could have very easily been one of sorrow, with no HEA, all because he made a bad decision, one he regretted immediately. But as the story continued, I began to see where he was coming from, and why he made those decisions. And, grudgingly, I began to see Grady less as a villainous ex, and more as the determined male he really is. Collins, at first impression, is a good girl. The girl next door, who has a crush on her older brother's best friend. But as you get further into the story, you see that she is really a deeper character than that. She has been crushed by a man, and didn't really have any answers as to why. And when he shows back up in their hometown, she tries to stay away from him, to avoid further heartache, even though she still has the same strong feelings for him. She is also a very strong woman. She took a childhood tragedy that made an impression on her, and turned it into a career that will help others. Grady isn't what he appears to be at first glance. He is determined, and patient. He knows what he wants, knows what he did wrong, and isn't opposed to begging for forgiveness. There's so much more to him than I first thought! This story has so many elements to love! I love second chance romances. I love brothers best friend romances. I love insta love. This book was everything all rolled in to one! In the end, I couldn't help but love Grady. I didn't think I would, but I did! His persistence and patience won me over. This book is a definite must read, and one that will be going on my re-read list!
