I have read this twice, and each time I am recaptured by how great this book is. I have turned several people onto this book and they agree with me that it's the best Elvis book on the market.
I just want to tell anyone who has heard about this book, it's really that good read it for yourself and you will see what the hype is about.
I have read many books on Elvis but this one is the best one so far. The book is very entertaining and very easy to read. It is a feast for the eyes and spirit. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to know about Elvis Presley and his friends. One word of caution. This book is addictive, it is filled with over 3000 pictures of the people that were interviewed it is truly an outstanding work. Since I am a Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix fan as well I am really looking forward to reading those books by Joe as well. In short it's a great investment of time and money. You won't have to look at another Elvis bio after this one, since it will be one hell of an act to follow.
