This book is really well written and has great suggestions for anyone who is getting ready to interview for a job. I like how it has some different types of jobs, so it doesn't seem like it's only for new college graduates. It's also really easy to read and isn't condescending - it's like he's sitting across the table talking to you. The illustrations and sample pages are good too. Someone I know got the book a couple of weeks ago and used the techniques and she got a job on her second try. I can hardly wait to try this next time I interview.

An interview is a business meeting where you talk about yourself. This book prepares you to be able to provide the right information in the right context in order to be successful. The suggested structure and charts to follow provide step by step guidance. Additionally, he shares insight and first hand experience.

I have a major interview coming up and this book really helped me see some major mistakes I was making in past interviews. I'm going to use the tools offered in this book and hopefully it helps!

Very well written book. Good suggestions for interview preparation as well as self assessments. The skill sets are simple enough for the new college grad and the seasoned employee to find the techniques useful. The 'interview sheet' included in the book is very handy for taking into the interview with memory triggers with space enough to include questions you want to ask and space to write new information which may include questions you want to ask at the conclusion of the interview.
