I have read a lot of books on autism written by doctors, scientists, parents and even adults on the autism spectrum but this book has been the only one to give me a glimpse into how my daughter feels and how she sees the world. I have a preschooler on the autism spectrum. Although she can talk a bit it will be a long time before she can tell me what she thinks and feels. This is a book meant for children and I belive it to be a must read for sibblings, classmates, cousins or any other child or teenager that knows a child in the autism spectrum. But I also consider it a must read for the adults around a child with autism. I am getting copies for my daughter's grandparents, teacher and uncles and aunts. My little girl can not tell everyone how hard changes are for her or why she has trouble playing with other children or behaving the way adults expect her to. I may tell my family that I read this or that is the best thing to do to respond to some things that she does differently but it is not the same as when it comes from a child that understands what she is going through. I can not wait until the day that she can tell me how she feels, but until then I will let Reno talk for her. Thank you Reno!!! About the content: this book talks about what autism is, how children with autism may be different and how they are just like other children and it gives specific ideas on how to be a good friend to a child with autism , how to understand that child and what typical children can do when a child with autism does something that might be different or not easy to understand like stimming or having trouble with having a back and forth conversation.

I absolutely recommend this book for all ages. It would be a great book for professionals, teachers, parents, and students to learn from and use as a teaching tool. The book explains on how to be a friend to another person with Autism or a disability. It gives a good explaination on how to do that. The book also gives Great information about Autism. The Author was only 10 when he wrote this book. Unbelievable! Truly inspirational! I love this book!
