About the Author
To us, rent to own is simply a great way to help people who need a break.
In 2009 we created a rent to own program that is aimed at helping people become home owners at the end of a pre-determined rent to own period. Along the way we discovered that many people in Canada, USA, Australia and UK may be misinformed or misguided by the information surfacing online or in the media. Our mission became to educate families and individuals about the realities of rent to own so they can be empowered to succeed. Through open and honest information sharing, we hope to increase the success rate of people who choose to use the rent to own path to homeownership. Our program is designed to make renting to own a positive experience for both the people who will become the homebuyers and the investor that is helping them get there. We personally facilitated rent to own arrangements for over 50 families in our local area where we carefully matched families with investors who share our commitment to help people get ahead with rent to own. In 2009 we set out to educate homebuyers on how to rent to own and come out ahead. We have since counselled over 500 people including self-employed professionals, new immigrants, and people looking for a fresh start after divorce.
