The protagonist is naive beyond belief and puts herself into ridiclulous and dangerous situations. Descriptions of the clothing the characters are wearing is too detailed and quite unecessary. And why was Lisa/Rose the target of the evil thugs? We are never told.

If you are looking for a poorly written book, this is it. There is terrible grammer, wrong words used, and even incomplete sentences. Would never reccommend this author to anyone. Kathy

It was predictable and bounced around a bit . Great for teens .

I loved reading this! It was fast paced and exciting. The main character was naive, but my impression is she was because she was so sheltered by her creepy "mother." I hope she will grow into her own person in the second book (fingers crossed). I liked the mystery of these people being after her. I think there might be more to it (some sort of reason). I'm excited to read book 2!!

Painful dialogue, obvious plot twists, and 2 dimensional characters.

I agree that the protagonist was naive beyond belief. The entire premise of the book was unbelievable at best, and the characters were one-dimemsional. It needed much better editing, and more research should have been done by the author. Many times throughout the book, I wanted to stop reading, but I persisted because I was hoping it would get more interesting. My hopes were not fulfilled.
