About the Author

Lesley has written since she was a child, and professionally since 1981. Her books show her dual career path as a human resources manager and management trainer as well as a commercial copywriter.

She says, “I’m one of those anal people who can spot a typo at 100 paces! I believe that information should not be dry and dusty, and reading non-fiction should be as engaging as conversation.”

Lesley writes in two areas – management development and writing to market a business – reflecting her background.

She continues, “Writing good English is not enough to market effectively – there is an art to writing to persuade people to take action and it’s not as common as people think. Despite the accessibility of the web as a free marketing platform, many people struggle to get their marketing message polished to perfection and presented to the reader as a tempting proposition.”
