She's not afraid to run with his wolf.

When a poacher killed his mate, Rafe Wyatt lost his future. While the Wahyas of Walker's Run have been pulling him back from the brink, he's certain he won't have another chance at love. That is, until Grace comes to town.

Grace Olsen is a woman without roots. That's exactly how she likes it, until a sojourn in a small, close-knit Appalachian community gives her a new vision of what home could be—and so does Rafe. He was supposed to be nothing more than a casual lover, just as wary of commitment as she is. When their raw attraction becomes something deeper, more complex, they could be looking at a new future together. But someone close to them both would rather see Grace dead than let her be with the man—and the wolf—she's grown to love.

The second book in this fascinating new series is just as thrilling and exciting as the first. Rafe and Grace are strong, vivid characters that stirs readers’ emotions and captures their hearts. Readers are easily pulled into the story and once there are held captive by the sizzling chemistry, sweet romance and adrenaline pumping suspense of the story. Rafe and Grace are wary of commitment due to their past but the more time they spend together, the harder the attraction is to fight as it gets stronger and stronger which keeps the emotional turmoil rolling throughout the story and keeps the conclusion to this romance in suspense until the end. Someone close to them would rather see Grace dead than let her be with the man and the wolf she’s come to love which adds danger and excitement to the story and keeping readers on the edge of their seat. A number of events keep the suspense building throughout and also make it easier for readers to connect to all the characters is this tight knit community. The author uses well written words and descriptions to bring the story to life which makes it easy for readers to picture each and every scene. This also pulls them deeper into the story and ensures that they want to know every last detail of this story and then return to visit Walker’s Run again.

I loved this emotional romance. This is a sweet and spicy story of love finding you when you least expect it. It was so easy to fall for and root on Rafe and Grace. It is a bit of a slow burn romance but when you took into consideration the pasts of these two characters, I thought it made perfect sense. Still here was plenty of simmering attraction, sizzle and push-pull between them to keep me fully engaged. Add in drama, suspense, danger and action and it is a book that will make you want to keep turning pages.

After reading and enjoying the first book I went straight on to read this one and I have to admit I enjoyed it even more than the first book. In this book, we meet Rafe and Grace these two are best friends with Brice and Cassie from the first book and met at their wedding Grace tries to befriend Rafe but he refuses even though he is attracted to her. You cannot help but feel for Rafe losing his mate and unborn child the way he did. I enjoyed this book it was a super read
